Thank you for this amazing and fun and sad journey. And thank you to everyone who joined in! Even Grouch, who watched less than anyone but had the most to say in the SoA discord channel LOL

Having to wait all day for this should be illegal. I’ve loved this journey so much, it’s come around so quickly!

Chris Robson

I cant believe we got here. So much sadness the first time I watched :D

FedeM

I am so thankful to Rob and Trin for this journey. SoA has a special place in my heart and I'll miss Jax and everyone but we always knew this was a tragedy Thank you to all those who voted for this! Onto the next!

Josip Buretić

My favorite show ever. I watched it 8th times...I am on season 5 here and Rob&Trin are definitely top 3 reactors that I have watched

Alex the baller88

With his leg, I’m pretty sure Charlie just hurt himself on set and they didn’t really know how to explain the limp lol

Amber 💙

Dang...it's really over, huh? Thanks for trusting us, Rob and Trin - watching this show with you has been one hell of a ride! My Wednesday mornings have become so ritualistic that it is actually scheduled into my day, lol. Gonna miss this 😔

Amber 💙

You can come sit with me, @TheGrouch. I like to be included too 😂

Amber 💙

@Kale, it's barely 8am and that's probably the funniest thing I'll read all day. I lol'ed for real 😂😭☠️

Kale

You guys are the best <3

C. J. Ramirez

It was unsers fault anyway he talked to much to Gemma and that got Tara killed

C. J. Ramirez

Can’t believe Unser died over pussy he hasn’t had yet smh

Titan99snpr

I think you’d both like the show “The last kingdom” it pretty similar to Vikings.

Anthony Ancona

Ding Dong the Wicked Witch 🧙‍♀️ is dead!

ShelleyAnn

I gave this one a good bash , I got to a certain characters jail death and couldn't continue 😭 but in my defense Im a huge empath and these things weigh me down mentally haha. Will continue when I learn to stop being overly emotional 😂

Amber 💙

empath to empath - im not trying to spoil anything but it only gets worse. It's an incredible show but it's very, very heavy. There's a lot of things I can't watch for this exact reason, esp. stuff with animals or stuff based on real life human torture and suffering. If I ever brave it, I really have to get in the right head space, and sometimes pause during, and even ground afterwards. I even said on Discord that Im ready for this show to be over bc it starts wearing on my psyche after about 6-6.5 seasons.

Amber 💙

I fought so hard for this show. I was so annoying in the poll and comments that I was scared to comment for a while after that 😂

Lui

Such a wonderfully sad and tragic journey. Gets me every time, what a show. RIP Unser, your Achilles heel got you one last time!

Amber 💙

Im really glad that Nero and Wendy made it out...they truly deserved it. I was so invested in them that I would have gladly watched a Nero and Wendy spin-off, lol, or even settled for an epilogue. My thoughts on Gemma: At times she seems rotten to the core, and maybe she is? She may have been a shitty EVERYTHING but up until she had the chance to save Unser and didn't, there was a teeny tiny possibility that I could have found 🤏 grace for her...lest not forget, Gemma offing Tara wasn't planned, whereas, the SOA MC was doing terrible shit long before Gemma gave Clay the go ahead to off JT. It only snowballed in ALL directions from there. Gemma left heroin for Wendy betting on the fact that she'd use it, but giving her a choice...Jax actually banged a speedball INTO her to keep her from her biological son, after she got clean and got her head on straight, when she most deserved a chance. Gemma needed to go. So did Jax. He went off the deep end when Tara died but he was well on his way there LOOOOONG before that. He got to go out in a way that he chose, something he loved, befitting of his station, and I don't know how I feel about that. He had a hand in so many others that were underserving and they didn't get a choice in how they went out. I have a love hate relationship with this show. I love the intensity and nuance but it's frustrating for the same reasons.

Crusader

Such a good show! It had one of the best stories. And it's sad that Jax had turned into everything he said he’d never be. And that smile he does is the first moment of true peace we see him experiencing before he dies. And he was betrayed all his life.

Nathan

And just like that Wednesdays wasn’t the same

Farva

Well, I really enjoyed watching this show with ya guys. I hadn't seen it since it aired, and had actually forgot a lot of things, so it was fun seeing it for the first time again. Sad that it's over, but ready for you guys to get in to one of my all time faves: Silicon Valley!

Vonnie Stewart

i'll miss this show. who was your fave character? mine was Chibs

Kyle

I really enjoy this show. It has every genre mixed within. The character development was amazing along with the writing and performances. Season 1 to season 7 are so different! Season 1-2 is like Harry Potter 1 & 2 haha. As far as tone goes in my opinion. Later seasons got darker.

Jane Avery

That damn ring that Gemma gave Able...! It just feels like she's going to win in the end again cause when he gets older he'll go looking for the club and end up joining.

Crusader

mine was Opie :D

Ashgar77

Knowing before the show ever came out that it was Shakespeare and bikers I knew it was going to be a tragedy. Later comparisons to Hamlet which is a huge spoiler going in.

There is no definitive answer to who the mysterious woman is, which is fitting for a show that often allows you to sit in the uncomfortable moments and wrestle with its themes rather than outright saying "this is good" and "this is bad". She seems to be a sort of Watcher, appearing to both Jax and Gemma (this is important) in their crucial moments of need and then again before the end to usher them to the other side. Kurt Sutter described her as "the magic that anarchy summons and the mortality it extinguishes." But here's where it gets really cool. Why does this strange woman appear to both Jax and Gemma? One of the biggest themes across the entire series is that the choices we make create a ripple effect of consequences that must always be paid. Your chickens always come home to roost. Remember Brooke Putnem's origin story? She's the teenage girl the SOA ends up taking in because her mom was killed in John Teller's accident. The prevailing fan theory is that the mysterious woman is actually the ghost of Emily Putner. The events of SOA unfold because Gemma makes a singular choice: to kill John Teller and bury the secret. This one choice sets her family down a path of bloodshed and unspeakable pain. Jax was supposed to be the "chosen one" who took the Sons down the right path, but in the end, he had even more blood on his hands than his mother. Only his sacrifice could right all those wrongs. In case that wasn't obvious enough in the writing, his literal blood spilled out onto a loaf of bread in the final scene. LOL. I choose to believe the Emily Putner theory because 1) it makes perfect narrative sense, 2) without the theory she's just a random woman there for the sake of metaphors that already aren't very subtle, and 3) she looks a LOT like the young actress they chose for Brooke. So either this was always the intention, or they wanted to script in a reason for the mystery woman and carefully wove Brooke into the last two seasons just so the fans would put it together themselves.

Unser: biggest simp in history.
