Training Day 2001 FULL REACTION

Denzel Washington is simply one of the best actors out there. I had already seen many of his movies before Training Day, and they were always good. However, he had always played the good guy. Training Day was the first film where he played an unlikable asshole. He did it so convincingly that he rightly won an Oscar for it. Great movie.

The reason the Russian didn’t give Alonzo a chance to attempt to pay by the end was because he had already run out of time. He was supposed to meet them with the cash and not a minute late. They caught Alonzo trying to flee to the airport. It’s also great to see Noel Gugliemi, who is known for playing characters named Hector in like 11 or 12 films and tv shows.

Shout out to the Rookie! I love that show

Another great cop movie is "end of watch" with Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael peña. It's actually set in south central. It was written and directed by the same guy that wrote this movie. Rob if you like the rookie I would definitely recommend watching it.

Uncle George

If you like this you'll love Keanu reeves Street kings 2008. It's so good.

Denzel Washington’s Macbeth is amazing too!

Tyrone Tyrone

After some rewatches I realized Alonzo decided to kill Roger after Roger knowing Alonzo was in trouble lied to him and told him he had his back but when he got the phone call asking for help, and he refused (it's your mess clean it up) he even refused to answer phone 10 seconds later. If Roger had helped nothing would've happened.

Denzel was too good as a psychopath. I wonder how high actors would score in a clinical assessment for Psychopathy.

End of watch is another great cop film

Kamanda Hickey

I was so confused the first time I watched this movie because I am a big fan of Denzel and I had never seen him as the bad guy 🫣. But he mastered that role and embodied it perfectly !

Marinda

I think Trin should really watch Person of interest. She and John Reese will get along great
