Scream 7 2026 FULL REACTION

Thank you for choosing this. I love the franchise. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it.

This film has the biggest budget in the franchise, but somehow felt like a low-budget horror film. As a Scream fan, I was waiting for the film to grab my attention, but it never came. The most excited I got was when I spotted an actor from CW’s Riverdale. But great reaction even when it comes to films and shows I dislike; you two always make the experience really fun and entertaining, so thank you.😊

Wow did not know about the budget, yeah it looks cheaper than the last ones. Was still good enough looking but yeah I agree with you on that one tbh. The first one is untouchable for me but I really enjoy the mind games and the chases 💕

Man… it didn’t feel like a low budget film at ALL. I genuinely have no clue what you’re talking about.

It’s hard to put my finger on it, but I recently just rewatched Scream 4, and that film felt like a drastically higher production than this film. Maybe it’s because the previous Scream 7 film was scrapped, and this film was stitched together at the last minute, who knows. But in Scream 6, they made the statement that they are in a franchise now, and everything had to be bigger. But this film somehow felt small and forgettable to me. Maybe Scream 8 will be different.

I don't care what anyone says... I enjoyed this because it returned to Sidney. This felt more like Scream to me than the previous one. I never cared much about the new people. And Scream 6 was a retread of Scream 2... but with lamer scenarios. This movie delivered all I needed with the Sidney / Gale hug & 'I trust you' scenes alone. Scream will always mean more when it's about them.

Stu not being dead has been a long held fan theory. Every new recent movie... a portion of fans have hoped for it. So that's not a flaw of this movie... it's exactly why they did it. I think some fans were upset that he really wasn't alive... and felt the movie mocked them. But it's always been a far-fetched theory in my view. So they wanted to lay it to rest. I liked that they had fun with the idea and had cameos of the original trilogy killers.

This is neat... I recently read that Kevin Williamson (who wrote Scream 1, 2, 4, and wrote & directed this one) wanted to do a reverse of Scream 1. So Scream 7 starts with murder at the Macher house... and ends with someone tied to a chair in a back yard. The reverse order of the first movie.
