Daredevil Born Again S1E5 With Interest FULL REACTION

Comments

Sharrod Wolf

Wait really? I kind wish yall just did the first episode as a standalone like u used to

Tyrone Byrne

I know this aint many peoples favourite ep, But its mine (definitely not bc im irish LOL) but also i think its a really fun bottle episode

MSephiroth

Then blame me, since it was my advice to do it this way. People, and Rob and Trin themselves, had been waiting forever to get to Daredevil Born Again, so I figured it only made sense for them to give people 2 episodes to start with, and you know, do the more semi-standalone episode, as... standalone. Either way people were going to complain, so I'm sorry that you didn't like this, but to me, it seemed like the best option

Sharrod Wolf

I’m not trying to be a dick so if I came off that way I apologize but I enjoy their reactions so I hate getting one episode in the middle of the season like this but it is what it is

MSephiroth

And I totally understand that, it's just the pain of it being an uneven amount of episodes, so I personally just figured it was the best way this way. And not really a dick, don't worry, it's more that I don't want them to take any flak for something that I advised them to do xD Either way like I said, someone was going to be disappointed, and I'm sorry it happened to be you

Rob & Trin React!

Totally understand cause we like doing 2 episodes over just 1 tbh. We never know what to do for the best but we trust in people giving us a heads up. Back to normal next week and afaik the next season is even episodes again ❤️ Can't be mad at people just wanting more lol so it is all good :)

Sharrod Wolf

No I love u guys honestly so I never want to come off as an ass. I just selfishly want more

MSephiroth

I totally get that as well, and we absolutely love the enthusiasm of course! xD

FedeM

I love this episode!

Michael Harn

I never understood the hate for this episode. It's literally my favorite from season 1 and easily the most memorable episodes. I wish we got more standalone eps like this.

Michael Celia

I know some had an issue with a standalone episode (apparently a holdover from when the show had a lighter tone and more episodes), but it's a fun one. Plus it's not everyday you see an Asian actress doing an Irish accent.

James

So cool that we get a cameo from Kamala’s father this time. It’s small, but it’s things like that that make this show and by extension Daredevil, feel more connected to the overall world. You can watch daredevil and almost forget it’s marvel which can be good in a sense but it shouldn’t be that way, the beauty of marvel is how all these tonally different characters can coexist and still make sense. Anyway that was a fantastic self contained episode, really excited to see more maybe we can get a daredevil and Ms Marvel meeting one day.

John Borek

I say this often. No one would object to a 3 episode finale :)

Sharrod Wolf

lol it’s my fault for getting my hopes up bc that’s exactly what I said to myself when we got 2 episodes first

Rob & Trin React!

Am Irish also and I loved it. Had to resist bringing out the family accent but everyone else seemed to do it for me in the episode haha

Jack&Dino

Props to whomever suggested splitting it up this way. It was less jarring of a tone shift and a lot easier to enjoy in isolation than when I was binge watching the series. Not a bad episode, but clunky when sandwiched in like it was originally.
