This is one of my favorites!!! Their chemistry sells this movie 100% and it always makes me cry at the end !

I'm pitching a rom-com month on the channel, it's so rare and there are some very interesting ones out there, we'd have a blast!

Kim Magee

yep their chemistry is awesome, hence why they have Blended and The wedding singer, but blended is so funny and sweet, Terry crews is hilarious

Kim Magee

100% very similar but completely different story, Terry crews is so good

I’ve always wondered what happens if she doesn’t go to sleep for an extended period. It seems like her brain resets every 24 hours during sleep. But what happens if she stays awake for, say, 48 hours? Does she get an extra day added on? Why wasn't that addressed in the movie? ^^ What normal person sleeps every day? 😅

This is my #1 feel good movie. I absolutely adore Adam in this and the ending is absolutely perfect.

Not sure if there are any Tommy Boy fans here, but there is an Easter Egg reference to it in the scene where Lucy sees the doctor for the first time. The institute is called Callahan Institute and is funded out of Sandusky, Ohio by T.B. (Tommy Boy) Callahan who created an auto parts dynasty, and became a philanthropist.

I'm not a big rom-com fan as I find they are too predictable, but there are a few older ones I really liked. Romancing the Stone, Sleepless in Seattle or You've Got Mail. All have great actor chemistry with Michael Douglas/Kathleen Turner and Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan.

Aww, Rob did you wear the Lord of the Rings t-shirt on purpose for this reaction?
