So happy to settle in and enjoy this reaction. Samara Weaving is beyond great in this - her screams, man, her screams! Like a visceral, bleating cry. And Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp)... as daughter Emilie... steals every scene she's in. Doing coke & hilariously, inadvertently, killing the wrong people.

It was the success of 'Ready or Not' that led the directors (Tyler Gillett & Matt Bettinelli-Olpin) into being entrusted with reigniting the 'Scream' franchise with 'Scream' 5 & 6. That's why both Samara Weaving (in the opening) and Henry Czerny aka Tony Le Domas (as Sam's therapist) appear in Scream 6.

I love this movie! The sequel came out this year, and I think it's just as good as this one.

My personal interpretation... Mr Le Bail was rooting for Grace because, after she drew the card, she respectfully raised her glass to his chair. None of the family bothered until she did that. Then at the end, he raised his glass to her. Also... popular theory is that nothing was happening to the Le Domases until Aunt Helene tried to kill Grace, after Grace had won. Breaking the rules. And as she goes after Grace - she pops, followed by everyone else. Interesting to think about. Daniel was actually the only one with any humanity left. Which is why he was perpetually drunk & self-loathing. You know Alex is not the good one, the moment he said: 'well, you wanted to get married' as an excuse. There's a sequel... 'Ready or Not 2: Here I Come'.

This was very entertaining I like the concept a lot and the acting was great. The mix of comedy was also done really well. Plus having a protagonist that takes initiative like this one was very fun to watch. I believe there is a second movie that just came out I hope you get a chance to react to soon.
