Ok, let's send Pennywise packing! (At least for another 27 years..lol) Let's go!

GoodDocGonzo

🫣I thought this was going to be a nice show about clowns and balloons.

SlipS_Tiger

Such a beautiful, hopeful ending. Sadly, Will doesn’t make it in the future. Will son is Mike the first film, Mike’s whole backstory is that his parents died in a house fire, and he ended up living with his grandfather.

great show and finale!! TIL: IT and The Shining take place in the same universe, might be time to finally watch The Shining

Crusader

Im very happy you guys reacted to this show, It's so good, and Richie's Sacrifice always gets me, that whole Black Spot episode was so terrifying but so well made, Bill Skarsgard still nails his Pennywise, Personally i prefer this show over the movies actually, He gets to do more in this one,

AnGeLuS

Here at Rob & Trin, you’ll find a reaction to The Shining and Doctor Sleep. I hope you enjoy it! :)

"Even a bear breaks hibernation if you flick its testicles." -Rob, 2026 It's like the writers knew the audience would fall in love with Richie...and they capped it off with probably the most cathartic middle finger of all time...

Alyssa Dyson

Y’all halloran is the old guy from the shining. The hotel and the way he can see ghosts was a big clue lol

James

This show is great, love the storyline and the characters. They had fun with that last episode for sure, pennywise got to go all out. Great reveal with Margie being Richie’s mom, I love the time stuff. Can’t wait for next season to see what they do.

Bradley Weeks

Absolutely love this show. I feel like it recreates all the elements that I loved in the movies, some horror, some humor, and some heart. I love all the added lore and all the connections to the movies. The fact that Marg names her son after the boy that saves her life is such a nice touch. The show gives Rich's death the proper weight and by not forgetting him the show rewards us with the visual of him flipping off the clown and helping his friends. What a way to tug on the heartstrings. I hope they can do this again with season two.

Rob & Trin React!

Only saw the movie one time and we both were so focused on the show we did not catch the references other than the box theme. Sorry about that, if it was a reference to something we knew better we would have got it 100% Also I did say the Shining at the hotel thing but he said London so it threw us off 🎃

Alyssa Dyson

Yeah it’s understandable! I love how they’re expanding the universe though- also the new Carrie show expands on it even more you guys need to watch that one next!

Season 2 films next year

Robert Lyle

The plan is for 3 seasons. Each season going back to a previous cycle and focusing on a historic event in Derry that is talked about in the book in the interludes. These events are briefly mentioned by Ben in the first movie, when he is educating the rest of the losers about Derry's history. In case y'all did not catch it, not only does Marge grow up to be Richie's mom, but Will grows up to be Mike Hanlon's dad. You don't see Marge or Will in the movies. Marge is just not shown, and Will and his wife have died in the fire by that point. However; you do briefly meet Leroy as an old man at the beginning of the first movie when he is trying to get Mike to kill a sheep (on the farm that you see them buy from Rose at the end of the show.)
