re: "Is he having good luck on the island" - if you think about everything that happens in his flashback, its mostly bad fortune that happens to someone else. In the accountants meeting, in fact, every form of bad luck that happened to other people actually benefited Hurley. Overinsurance on a fire meaning they actually made more money, settlement for the police arrest, etc. Same with Sam Toomey. So he expected to be fine on the rope bridge, and as expected it was Charlie that almost fell

Dude I have to tell you this, since I'm watching this ep... an admin in my Lost fb group bought a 2022 vehicle this week. Yesterday the engine blew. It's completely no good now. He took a picture of odometer... it's on 815. Blew my fooking mind. Our group tripped out over his post.

Don't know if you thought about this. But when Hurley hugged Rousseau, that poor woman hadn't felt human touch, much less a hug, in 16.5 years. It's a miracle she's not completely bonkers. Strong lady.
