Don't wanna make you feel dumb, but most people I've seen react to it twig when he's conspicuously introduced with dialogue and given a name and muse that he's who's in the hatch. But rest assured that's always disappointing when it happens so thank you for not twigging haha. You seem super smart at picking up on what the characters may do, themes and arcs and stuff, but seem easier to surprise with the WTF moments and that's absolutely perfect as not seeing it coming is way more fun to watch :D

Trin is right, the title Man of science Man of faith for this episode is for Jack. The writer talk about it in the dvd commentary of the episode.
