It's my birthday today; I'm saving this for tonight. Chinese take away and Sherlock :)

About the fake houses- from google search...."They are maintained by Transport for London. The false houses — numbers 23 and 24 — have no rooms behind and were built later than their neighbours in the late 1850s. ... The false houses hide a short area of uncovered tracks. The result is the illusion of unbroken terraced row of houses between 22 and 25".

I found this episode quite unsettling in parts when I first watched it; it took me a while to relax into it. Magnussen was the creepiest villain with the most disgusting mannerisms, he truly repulsed me and I was so relieved at the end when Sherlock shot him. Is he truly dead tho' ? Does anyone ever truly die in this show? Mind boggling stuff. Can't wait for the next one.
