it seems you're not the only one who got an email about this reaction, but it was posted in April 2022

I don't know why this movie popped in Patreon out of nowhere, but I am glad that it did. I was never a huge Batman fan, except for the last Trilogy. This film was like a Batman coming of age movie, like he was beginning to transition into the hero role. It was an excellent movie, and I checked, it is to be a Trilogy too!

My all time favourite Batman movie, haters can take recency bias and shove it up their arse haha. I love the Dark Knight as much as anyone but that had a movie preceding it to build characters and world. What they achieved in one movie here is so impressive, the tone and look of the film is perfect. The performances are all stellar and the excitement for the future that it left me with is insane!

Rob - you can look it up on YT - there is a 5 min deleted Joker scene which shows him a lot better. Matt Reeves decided to not include it in the movie as (rightfully so) he was afraid it would take the attention away from the main plot.
