I love watching this with you guys! But.... Nooooooooo... I don't want to sacrifice it for Halloween movies. (Everything else I watch here is ending... Lost and Stranger Things.). Bates Motel is perfect for Spook-tober. S2 is so good. And Nestor Carbonell (Romero) gets elevated to main cast in S2. (He was guest cast in S1.)

There was so much going on in the end... with Romero and Norman & his teacher... that you guys didn't get to go back to Norma's big revelation. I think it's an incredibly crucial piece of her psyche that explains so much about her behavior. If her entire formative relationships consisted of abusive & neglectful parents... and an older brother having sex with her... it's no wonder she has dysfunctional boundaries with Norman.
