Edge of Tomorrow 2014 FULL REACTION

Simon Williams

Yessssss I been waiting all day for this!!

roncelune

Yeees very underrated movie. And one of the few good manga adaptations that exists ! So much that most people don't actually know it is. Next time someone says that good manga adaptations are impossible, tell them about Edge of Tomorrow to make them quiet, it works quite well if they already know it haha

Simon Williams

I knew you guys would love it! It has so many elements that I know you both like that I couldn’t mention before without spoiling it. This made my night 😁

Kim Magee

I love this movie yeah

Vonnie Stewart

never watched and so glad that I did with yall. emily blunt was freaking hot as a badass lol! i love her. she was supposed to be black widow in marvel; forever sad now that she isn't

Kevin Przy

Another amazing movie with Tom Cruise is called Collateral

Torbrevelk

(I've never seen this one before) I wasn't quite feeling it for a bit at the beginning, but after the first reset, I was hooked, and really enjoyed the movie!

james moore

Love this movie but no way he didnt die in the end. That was just a Hollywood happy ending, but I believe the real one is they both died saving the world

Count Monte-Cristo

Well, I just know what to put on next poll. It'll be A Quiet Place and it's sci fi

Kim Magee

So many great movies from Tom, Rainman, Cocktail, Topgun & Maverick, Rock of ages , War of the Worlds, Jerry Maguire, far and away, A Few Good Men, Days of Thunder and others

J Scott Page

Good call noticing the guy from Game of Thrones, but there was another. Kimmel, the guy who was screaming "We made it!" then got crushed early on, he was the fool in GoT, also.

Sean Murphy

This is one of the few that does groundhog day the right way. No sequel sadly. There was talk about it in 2021 but that didn't happen. Budget was too high or something.

angie808

A mix between Aliens, A War of the Worlds, and Groundhog Day. LOL! Great movie. I don't know why, I never expect to go in watching a Tom Cruise movie liking it, but then I always leave it loving it. Crazy, but true.

RuinFox

This was actually my first Tom Cruise movie believe it or not, and im probably going to get chased out of hear by a mob with pitchforks but im pretty sure this is the ONLY Tom Cruise film ive seen 😅 But i loved it so much, and im glad R&T did too :)

Simon Williams

I may just have to throw Minority Report into the ring when you guys get around to sci-fi….😁

James Buckley

Glad you enjoyed this. Palm Springs is another film similar to this id recommend but it’s more of a comedy

Wendy Sparks

I love this movie to no end. I feel like it's often an overlooked gem... mostly because of the title. Honestly, Tom Cruise movies usually exceed expectations every time.

Wendy Sparks

Personally, give me happy endings. I'll never understand how everyone dying makes a better movie. But, in my view, the ending reboot makes perfect sense. We saw Cage absorbing the Omega's essence when he was dying... so he inherited its ability to automatically go back 24 hours. And since the raid at the Louvre was before the invasion... he went to an earlier reset point. (With the alpha blood, he went back 24 hours from his original death on the beach. Going back from his second real death at the Louvre, puts him much earlier. The omega stays dead regardless... just as the alpha stayed dead, never reappearing in any subsequent returns to that same beach day. Same applies to the Omega... going back, it's still dead.)

Ninaofthe90s

man you gotta watch more Tom Cruise! He's the best.

Thank you! I was never able to figure that out. I watched it more than once since I loved the movie way more than I thought, especially with how they skipped many parts of his re-lived days and only showed the more important things. So I didn't get bored. But somehow I totally forgot about the 24 hours and never thought about the fact that he died way earlier this time. I just wondered why he woke up that early in the movie at the end. And yes, I don't care if I know what will happen at the end (the story up to that point can still be interesting). I wanna have a happy ending and it's so funny to me that Rob is the same as me when it comes to the point of "kiss already". Maybe it's because I read fairy tales as soon as I could read or because I grew up with Disney and in many of those there is a kiss involved (if not in the fairy tale, than in the Disney version), but I want that moment in a movie. I think my favorites are action/adventure movies with the right amount of comedy and at least some romance. In pretty much every genre (except an actual romance movie) I like it when it has a smaller romantic side story like in this movie. There are some sadder movies that I do like, but I really have to be in the mood for those and with most of them I would like them even more if they had a completely unrealistic happy ending where all of my favorite characters are still alive.
