Man it sucks when I don’t care enough to vote for any from this poll but I cared about like 8 from another poll. Oh well! It’s the way the cards fell. I hope you guys do more from this era because 2000s movies are such a vibe!

The pianist is very intense and impactful. I've only watched it once but I often think about it, still, after many years.

Such a shame to have to whittle them down, truth be told, I'd love to see your reaction to all those and many in the other polls.

I liked the KILL Bill poll but these last 2 polls are not good . Did people suggest these ?you're missing out on a lot of 2000 movies

There’s some great movies on this poll!! The Guardian, The Hurt Locker, Sherlock Holmes, Remember Me, Pride and Prejudice, and The Island are all fabulous movies!! I would be happy with any and all of them!!!! Thank you! Sincerely, Heidi

Pan's Labyrinth is so weird and amazing! It's nice to see some foreign movies every once in a while. Sherlock Holmes is very entertaining, I think you'll like the style since you love the BBC TV show.

By the way are you going to have personal picks this month too? I don't think I saw the list for July.

Elle

Lovely Bones is such a great book, and movie. Doubtful it'll be in the top 4, but def worth a watch.

Steven Templar

I've given up on these polls. Just look at the garbage that have won and all the great films that never stood a chance. When The Walking Dead ends I'm out.

ln_wanderbooks

It's a vote, so a majority of people disagree with you. But don't forget they also always do their own picks for the month so there's a chance a movie we like more and didn't make it will still be watched. It's not Rob and Trin's fault, unfortunately most people want to constantly be exposed to the same movies.

Hunter Robinson

Sometimes what is ahead on these polls is so surprising. As long as Kill Bill wins in the long run ;)

Pan’s Labyrinth really deserves a ton more votes! Guillermo del Toro directed it and his work is very creative. And Pan’s Labyrinth I think is one of his best and I wish more people would see it. It’s sorta a hidden gem even though you’d think it would be more known. Del Toro was set to be the original director for the Hobbit movies and a lot of complicated stuff happened in the development stage, so Peter Jackson had to take over the production almost reluctantly. But I think? there are still some designs and ideas from del Toro’s version in the Hobbit films. For the most part, PJ started from scratch with his own vision but I think they did keep in some del Toro stuff. His most recent film is an instant classic: his version of Pinocchio, which is the more dark and serious version and such a beautiful film as well. While I’m not a fan of all his stuff, I think he is one of the greats and deserves to get more recognition for his work. If any of you haven’t seen Pan’s Labyrinth, go watch it!

Andy Hodgetts

Surely it's only fair and reasonable that having made R&T sit through heavy stuff like Schindler's List, or quite upsetting stuff like Seven we can reward them by letting them watch Stardust? ;)

Jack's World

Insidious is one of the most absolutely terrifying horror films I’ve seen, it is SO well done!

Issie Taylor

definitely watch Hot Rod one day it's one of the most underrated comedies ever.

Why are people still giving air to Polanski or his movies? The Pianist was made by not only a convicted child rapist but one who claims he did nothing wrong (while admitting to raping a 13 yo), and who has been accused by many more, the youngest 10 yo at the time. The Guardian ran an article in 2018 that's worth a read. Let's not help promote this guy's movies...

Jessica Cole

3:10 to Yuma is such a good movie. Never did get the recognition it deserved.

Linda wightman

I am still in shock that on the previous poll list white chick's won over in bruges I honestly cant comprehend it.

Linda wightman

A great if not slightly disturbing film but well worth seeing but your right it won't be.
