Shelley

Kim Magee

I'm so glad they met Wilson 😀 got something fun to watch tonight

roncelune

I didn't watch this one since I was little but I remember crying a lot in front of it, also the movie that made me discover advertising in cinema, I was blown away when I discovered FedEx was a real thing 😆

Alyssa Dyson

Fun fact this was filmed in Fiji 💜

Amanda

I can’t watch the Wilson scene because I end up crying in bed all day over a volleyball

James

Wilson is the real main character in this movie

Shabaqo

I think this was the movie that started the never travel with Tom Hanks meme

Bradley Weeks

I have to say , I didn't vote for this movie. I watched it before and felt let down by the ending. But this was really enjoyable on rewatch. Partly because watching with Rob & Trin is always fun, and I think now I can appreciate that they didn't go with the happily ever after ending. I love how the movie starts and ends at the same crossroads. Thanks to everyone who voted for this because I probably wouldn't have ever watched this again.

@AmethystRock

The ending was frustrating as hell mainly cos I REALLY wanted to know what was in that damn parcel. If I was Tom Hanks I would've camped on Dixon's doorstep till she got home and made her open it in front of me. Wilson = MVP

Schmaster

The director spent a week on an island alone just to see what it would be like and while he was there a volleyball washed up on shore. He decided to put a volleyball in the movie and the rest is history

Steven Schmaling

Tom hanks had to gain weight for the first part and lose weight for the second part

Cyndi McCoy

Great reaction you two! I was so happy to watch this with you guys because it truly is an amazing movie. Bitter sweet.

Dawn

Love this movie and rob crying 😢

Michele H.

Yes, Hanks gained weight for the first part then after one year, they started filming again, giving him time to lose 50lbs… I love Wilson 😭

Lee Shafer

I will most definitly always vote for anything with Tom Hanks . Also I watched blue lagoon too. . 🏐😊

Katie Young

I agree with everything you said Bradley. I felt the same back in 2000 and am so glad I rewatched with R&T. It was neverrrrr one I entended to see again but am appreciative now for having done so. I guess 23yrs more of wisdom DEFINITELY changed my perspective 😉🫶🏽

Thadman

I think it was less time of a wait than that. I remember it was something like 4 to 6 months. But, I thought it was a brilliant idea to take time off filming so you could get the effect of change.

Tylor Smith

The extra scenes on the DVD the package at the end was a satellite phone he could of used the whole time. No bs go check it out.

Count Monte-Cristo

THE BLUE LAGOON - from 1980? And also, when Chuck Norris enter a room, he do not turns lights on, he turns darkness off.

Kamanda Hickey

I really loved that movie when I first watched it but at the time I was in France and the title was very different. I didn’t even know that Cast Away was THAT movie, I just realized it by the thumbnail before rewatching it 😂

Paul Smith

In the original film, they did show the scene where Tom did indeed test the hanging. But after numerous complaints, it was removed from all future viewing.

Nadine 🇨🇭

I really hate that we didn’t see Chuck meeting people for the first time in over 4 years. Also the 4 year time jump really annoyed me at the time.
