Loki 2021 S01E04 The Nexus Event FULL REACTION

Literally only subbed to your patreon for the marvel reactions 🤣

I'm so happy nobody spoiled the e. grant surprise! One of the most entertaining things about watching you both watch the movies and series from marvel,is that you are not watching it with all the overload of information, attack of spoilers and marvel "knowledge" we fans had at the time this was coming out. It is an honest watch, "naive" in the better of ways, and so much fun for us to follow you both going through those discoveries and surprises. thank you for sharing the experience.

Glad that the Richard E Grant wasn't spoiled for you, as I remember you mentioning him previously 😂

Yeah, I couldn't have been the only person who was biting my tongue when Rob said Loki reminded him of a young Richard E. Grant...

In case you missed it, Sophie's "crime against the timeline" was that she was born a good person. That's all it took. Also, the bit with Loki cutting Sif's hair is an actual thing from Norse mythology. ;)

Pretty much that, when they took her she was playing with Valkyrie dolls. She wanted to be one, a protector of Asgard.

Anthony Ancona

Just saw a commercial for Loki season 2. Yay.

Octavia

Whenever I think of Richard E. Grant... I think of 'Withnail and I'.

You can’t have a show about Loki, and not have at least 1 “fake death” 😜 The fact that Rob mentioned Richard E. Grant as a possible Loki way back when, is a testament to the great casting job that Marvel almost always does. 2 more episodes to go! It is bittersweet, I can’t wait to hear what you guys think about it all, but I also don’t want the mystery and fun to end so soon. 💚💚💚

SlipS_Tiger

the time keeper giving that wizard of oz vibe

Back to that Nexus Wandavision ad, not sure if anyone mentioned it but the doctor behind the counter was supposed to be Dr. Strange trying to contact wanda. Nexus was a little nudge to Wanda being a Nexus Being

Hannah Walker

Sylvie is a variant because she was born female, that's why the TVA took her. 😊
