Kingsman The Secret Service 2014 FULL REACTION

Comments

Taryn Clay

The church scene to Free Bird is iconic. Honestly the way the cinematography dances with the fight choreography the entire movie is artistry at it's finest.

Lifehouse

The first time I watched this movie, I watched it as a recommendation. So I had no idea what I was getting myself into. When the movie started with that rubble turning into the intro titeling I knew it was good. I just had no idea how good. Its amazing. The sequel is good aswel. I personally really dislike the 3rd (prequel, with different cast). Im not sure but I think there will be another one coming soon with original cast.

adam99x

This is the same film company that did Kick Ass. That's why the humor and action are all so fun. Mark Strong is in both as well.

roncelune

⚠️Rob & Trin, I haven't watched the reaction yet but in case you're planning to react to the sequel, DON'T look at any promotional material like especially the movie poster, it's full of spoilers. I saw a lot of reactors getting spoiled just by looking at the poster and it's frustrating for the reaction, so Rob please be very careful when searching a picture to make your scene 🥲 That said, I've been trying to make you watch Kingsman at every possible poll since I joined, I finally did it 😭 Can't wait to watch it with you !

Lifehouse

Rob, it actually is based on a comic book series. It's an imprint of Marvel. Good catch.

SamT

JB as in Jack Bauer, from the series '24'. Awesome!

SamT

Glad you noticed the houses too Rob, outside the Church in the 'USA' I noticed the selection of cars first, was very pick and choose lol. Doesnt affect anything though. One of the best fight sequences imo

James

That action scene in the church is in my top 5 fight scenes of all time. Also churches like that do exist in America they use the religion as an excuse to hate on other people and preach about their political beliefs instead of just preaching how a normal church would.

Bradley Weeks

I had forgotten how much fun this movie is. I'm glad it was one of the winners this month. Great reaction! So much more fun than just rewatching on my own.

Shelley

The amount of decent British actors/actresses in this is awesome tbh and having SLJ and Colin firth in it just brings more fun! Love this film

I saw this movie in high school and I've loved it ever since haha I never get tired of rewatching this, it's so fun. Taron Egerton who plays Eggsy, is a great actor and has gone on to show even more talent in his roles playing Elton John in the biopic Rocketman, and most recently playing Henk Rogers in the Tetris biopic from this year. All around a great time, glad you guys had fun!

Sherylin Johnson

You must watch Trading Places (with Eddie Murphy & Dan Akroyd) You and Trin will love it-- And the last lines of this movie (I believe) come from the last lines of Trading Places. ETA: Plus the theme of taking a lower class person and putting them into a certain environment to see how they behave/see if they can excel is also common in both movies.

Adam Hill

I'm so glad Kingsman finally won and thoroughly enjoyed the reaction. I'd love to see you react to the sequel as I personally liked it just as much as this one although as someone else commented if you do, try to avoid any promotional material even small stuff.

Michael Celia

This movie is such a guilty pleasure. The mass head popping scene toward the end set to Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance is just so ridiculous, it had me in stitches when I first watched it. Plus Taron Egerton isn't bad to look at ;)

Anthony Ancona

Overall it was a great show, the scene with Eggy being told to shoot the dog, and the church scene were a little much, but that's just me. Overall a 8.5 out of 10.

Cynthia

I hope you guys get a chance to watch the second movie as well!

Maggie Barbour

My mom and I used to go to the movies a lot before she passed. I remember when there was a bit of a lull in new movies coming out and this was one of the only ones that we hadn't seen. We went and saw it in theaters and were recommending it to everyone for months afterwards. Its certainly not the most nostalgic movie to me but I do look back on it fondly and miss that time.

Nathan Hill

“This is really weird for a church” that’s because it’s a hate group, similar to Westboro Baptist

Reverend Jim Jones

Love this movie! So much fun. That church scene is the greatest action scene I've ever seen. I hope you watch the second one.

Thanks for this. I'm about to watch it now and haven't looked at the poster. I saw the trailer when it came out but don't remember it, so...cool.

Thadman

Marv is the production company of the guy who wrote the comic. He also wrote the "Kick-Ass" comics and produced those movies also. I do recommend those also, if you haven't seen them.

Sand Man

I havent been able to watch you vids for the last few days because of my health, and now im back and i see you did kingsman, you guys have amazing taste, havent watched the reaction yet, but I feel excited like i was 15 again when i watched it first, this patreon subscription is like a walk through my childhood sometimes, rob and trin are amazing, thanks for all the awesome posts.

Alan Petersen

I hadn't seen this one in a long time and it was really enjoyable seeing it again!
