Rob you did miss something yes... they have the fuel to go up... but they didn't have enough to go up and get back down that's what the simulations were about getting back down with not enough fuel ;)

I agree, Jasper is extremely frustrating right now; in a normal world, I’d hope he’d be on meds, seeking therapy. We’re just seeing someone with depression that isn’t dealing very well. 💚 Monty figuring out the key! 🥳 Such a great episode and even more to come!

Clarke is a Nightblood now as if she couldn’t get more badass. When they tested the grounder I think Jackson and Abby said the deathwave radiation is stronger than just the acid rain. They needed the pod to give someone those levels of radiation Abby kinda messed up by destroying that

They are using Lunas bone marrow right now to test if it will work. If it does, then they would have needed to go to space to make enough for everyone. As of now like Milen said, they don’t have enough fuel since they lost a barrel on the way there.

Octavia

I wouldn't say it was pointless... just realistic. Things often come to nothing in real life. Just like with their space plan. They were bringing all the fuel to the island for Raven & Abby to go to space... but that plan had to be scrapped because they lost a barrel on the way. I don't blame Abby for destroying the chamber... what a parent will do for their child goes beyond reason.

And it is great because you never know what is gonna happen. It is not the usual storytelling, it is complex. In the start of the season, we thought that The Arkadia is a solution, then we thought a bunker is, then we wanted to create nightblood to save everyone, then we found a bunker, ... It is not straigbtforward like: okay, we create nightblood -> go there -> test it -> it does not work -> fix it -> save everyone...Many possibilities how things could go and I love it!
