A surprising one. I like when we don't see what is coming.

I like the story. One tweak I might suggest is, make them superheroes from the start. Turn them from, say, Glamor Gal and her sidekick (name TBD) into your SBBs. Close with Mike saying "Nobody screws over a sorcerer" or something like that. Just a thought!

Also- ever thought about doing a sequel? It'd be fun to see "whatever happened to" some of these characters.
