Bella Gabbers! In this video I will show my method to make Mainstream  Kicks with Tha Playah Kick Configurator. This is a really cool and fast way also to make other style of kicks (for example Uptempo kicks). I need help understanding the triplets and quarters for Hardcore tracks and uptempo. I have been putting my uptempo tracks in 1/4 and was wondering can uptempo be in 1/3 also.

Sure you can do it, you can use triplets in the genre you want. The only "rule" if you have multiple instruments that sound together is to use the same rhythm. For example if have the melody written with triplets the kick rolls have to be written with triplets as well.
