Faulborne (Patreon)

The next set of chapters on the Patreon are from a new story I've been working on: Faulborne.

Synopsis:Silvah’s parents were murdered overnight.

The gruesome scene by itself is enough to promise a vendetta against the murderer. But whoever killed her parents also took her darling little sister. Alive. Now Silvah is seeing visions of her sister everywhere she goes, reminding Silvah of her need to be found.

Luckily she’s a detective—one of the best—and rumours whisper of the culprit being the Ryūjin-kai, a rival gang in Yumekyo. And if her sister isn’t there? Well. Then she’ll just have to upturn the entire world to find her.

But things aren’t as they seem. Strange meetings and occurrences point to supernatural beings, sorcerers and foulbeasts.

And just when Silvah thinks she’s catching a scent of her sister, a Primordial—the oldest and most evil of spirits—infects her.

Is it a blessing in disguise? Maybe she can use the spirit to hunt down her family’s killers…
