It was everywhere how big Rachel was. She wasn’t called the queen of basketball, anymore. No, the title was now the god of basketball. It was the belief of everyone that no one could match Rachel. No one in the NBA could, and they were too scared to be interviewed on her. The endorsement deals she was getting was the National GDP of small nations. Rachel didn’t want to join into these. No, she had bigger plans in mind. Something that would really get her what she wanted. Rachel didn’t want money or respect. What Rachel wanted, was to get into more sports. No one was brave enough to challenge her at basketball, not after the absolute curbstomp of her last match. Not even the best NBA teams would ever want to challenge her, because of the fear of her destroying all of them in public. It was wildly seen that not even the best basketball team, working with the second best, could get a SINGLE point in a match against her. So where did Rachel go in sports, because of the fear of her?

Rachel went to other sports. Why stay with basketball when she was clearly the best at it. Being the best at other sports would be very fun and might be challenging to her. Almost no one wanted Rachel to join. But of course, their was some ego involved in these things. It was impossible to deny how she crushed all of basketball. Just because one was good at basketball, didn’t mean they were good at another sport. They knew that if they were going to crush her hopes and show off she wasn’t as great as she thought she was, they all wanted her in the league. All of them wanted her to compete against the greatest of greatest of their own sports. It was their hope that they could all trounce her, and put her back in her place. Below men.

Man did those idiots eat crow. The first to try to mess with her was Baseball. What an all American sport. That should teach women how stupid they are, the baseball managers hoped. When they asked Rachel what position she wanted, she blew some bubblegum, and said she would try them all out. The team she was working with had no idea what that meant, but they didn’t care. They were the Crimson Comets, and they were going to make sure she had no chance to really play. The team had the best pitcher in the entire baseball league, and he was going to strike her out. Rachel had the baseball in hand, and when asked if she ever used it before, she said nope. Rachel took a few practice swings, and it was clear she was treating it more like a golf club than a baseball club, given her swings. The pitcher knew he would have no problem getting the ball past her. Not only was he superior in skill to her, he was the fastest thrower in the league.

With perfect form, he stepped forward and threw the ball with a curve that even the best batters couldn’t touch it in a mile! As the ball curved and moved in directions most baseballs shouldn’t move, that was about to hit the glove of the man behind Rachel, Rachel was confused by the ball. Do baseballs move that slow? Rachel had no time to think, as she just slammed the baseball, but not as hard as she could. It was why the baseball didn’t explode on instant impact, or the bat had exploded in her hands. Instead, the ball just soared across the sky, and had left the entire stadium. No one even saw the ball fly, and some were looking for it around her or in the glove of the man behind her. Rachel herself saw the ball fly off as she went into a strut, enjoying everything as she knew the men couldn’t believe the ball was gone. Rachel walked it with ease, and than it came to pitching. The batter on the team was twice as good as the pitcher.

In fact, it was said he was the best in the entire league. When he hit a ball, it was to make sure that it was out of the stadium and was known as the homerun emperor. The man wrapped his massive hands around the bat, nearly breaking it as he was ready. Rachel held the ball in her hand as gently as she could to not dig into it. Rachel tossed the ball the same way someone would gently move a ball to their dog from across the room. The player was ready to swing when he saw the ball… and than heard strike. The ball didn’t even seem to move across the air, it was as if it teleported into the glove of the umpire. The player was angry as Rachel prepared the next throw, and he was more than ready. No way she could strike him out, when NO ONE has ever struck him out. With the next throw, he swung as quickly as he could. Too bad for him, that yet again, the ball was in the glove. The batter was now ready for what was going to happen next. He had to be as fast as he could, and as strong as he could. He was going to grand slam the ball, as Rachel winked at him and with some mockery, gently tossed the ball with the least amount of effort she could. The batter tried to find any way to hit it, throwing his fastest strongest swing ever. It was the golden swing, maybe the greatest in the entire league of baseball.

Still the ball went past him, and in that moment, Rachel wondered if baseball was going to be her career. So, she tried every other team in the league… and struck them all out. It wasn’t even a competition. Rachel went to every other sport she could think of, and again she dominated after dominated. Bowling? Constantly got strikes even when she threw with just her pinky. Tennis? Did not love always causing craters in the field when she smashed them down. Darts? Blindfolded and standing on one hand, she threw the darts in a perfect bullseye. Polo? Well that was just too boring to really dominate. It was every sport in the league that Rachel had dominated, and she did it to such absurd degrees that even her harshest critics had to admit it. She was the best. That NO ONE could match her. It’s why when she came to the last sport… they had to change things. Everyone wanted to really make sure that she didn’t win this one… because if she did… than it was over. It was time for Rachel… to see how she fared in Football.

Good to see you back writing, being a fan of sports prodigies, I was looking forward to seeing how Rachel would fare in more physical sports that needed more power, and while I was hoping for football to be next, baseball was a nice interlude to show her athletic prowess. But yes, I am really, really looking forward to seeing what she does against an entire team of massively huge, strong, muscular men by herself.
