Commissioned stories: Videl (Patreon)

Videl had a lot of things on her mind. One of the most prominent is, what will she make for dinner tonight? The whole family was coming over, and that included her father-in-law. Goku alone could eat the worth of what 15 cows would eat. That is if they were cannibal cows. Videl was just glad Chi-Chi, her mother-in-law, would send the supplies to her instead of expecting Videl to buy them. Videl once checked online the bill for all the food if she had bought it, and nearly fainted in horror at all the 0’s. Videl though had to admit, she didn’t much mind cooking all these dishes. No, Videl had a different problem. Videl was simply starting to get bored of this kind of lifestyle.
Videl loved her husband and her daughter. Videl just didn’t like being a wife who stayed at home making dinners and thinking about what to clean next. Videl always had these thoughts, but for the past few days, these thoughts bubbled up more in her life. All because of Gohan training for another tournament. Videl felt like he was doing one every few weeks. Oh, she didn’t really mind that Gohan did these things. Videl just minded the fact she wasn’t doing them. Videl missed the lifestyle. Videl could remember like it was yesterday that she was fighting in the world tournament.
She and her cute pigtails trained for a whole year to be one of the few women who fought in it. Everyone considered her just another frail princess, trying to coast on her daddy. That wasn’t what Videl wanted. Videl was ready to defeat her dad if need be to win the tournament. But things changed. One of those things was meeting the love of her life and the man who changed her forever. Gohan. Meeting Gohan was one of the best things to happen to her in her entire life. It was also, somewhat, one of the worst. Videl would never tell her husband that, it was too cruel. But Videl felt that she was just telling the truth of the matter. As great as things have been, Gohan changed her. Not maliciously or on purpose, but his very presence made her change in a way that she never wanted. He turned her into a stay-at-home housewife who takes care of their daughter while he has fun.
Videl loved her daughter but she felt it just wasn’t fair. Would HE have done the same for her? If Videl asked him to, he would. But he’d have to be ASKED, not just know it. Like there was this great force that made Videl lose all her warrior spirit and become a boring woman who had no life outside of her husband and child. Wonder if Chi-Chi could relate? Well, Videl didn’t want to be a downer, and so went to finishing the dinner as best as she could, at least knowing that she’d do an amazing job at this. It was something that normally brought her some pride and joy, having everyone enjoy what she had made.
Everyone enjoyed the food when they got home. Videl though, didn’t feel her usual pride or accomplishment at such a task. It just felt all so hollow, perhaps brought on by what she was thinking about all day as she cooked. The talk between Goku and Gohan about the tournament didn’t help. As Goku was devouring more rice than a rice farm could ever hope to produce in a year, Goku was talking about the fighters.
“We have Krillin, Tien, Roshi, and the androids. But Buu is out of commission, so we need a new 10th fighter!”
Goku clarified, with each name being paused for a quick bite of food. Videl and Gohan were a bit struck by what Goku had said. He almost seemed nonchalant about losing a fighter for what Goku said was the biggest tournament ever. Especially one of Buu’s caliber, who would be more powerful than half the current team! With Buu gone, the team lost a major advantage and a good idea of how they would win. Gohan nearly choked on some squid as he was taken back with what his dad said.
“How is he out of commission?! Did we get attacked by cheaters?!”
“Nope, he’s sleeping.”
Videl wanted to desk slam her face. SLEEPING?! BUU IS SLEEPING?! If Videl didn’t know any better, she’d assume Goku was making up some stupid reason for Buu not to fight. Gohan could barely utter his next words.
“Do we have a replacement for Buu? I know Yamcha or future Trunks would be a major help…”
“I’m thinking Frieza.”
Gohan nearly flipped the table in anger, exhaustion, and confusion. What happened next was a lot of screaming and arguing that Videl could get maybe, say, a fraction of what was going on. Videl could tell that Gohan had a history with this Frieza and that this history was terrible. Videl knew that somehow Frieza came back, but beyond that, she only knew him as the ‘guy her husband fought’. Which was, from what Gohan described; was nearly everyone Gohan knew. Even his dad, frankly. Thus if Frieza was singled out as being a bad guy, this must have been serious or Goku was suggesting he and Gohan said no. Still, Goku brought up a point over and over. This was the fate of their universe, and NO one could replace a being as powerful as Buu unless they were equally powerful or more. They had to be one of the strongest in the universe to fight in there. Only a true absolute master of combat would be allowed in.
“What about me?”
Everyone at the table, from Goku, Gohan, Mr. Satan, Chi-Chi, Goten, and even Pan looked at who had said that. Videl. Videl didn’t feel nervous or even chuckled at what she had said. She was dead serious. Some part of her wondered why she was so, but hearing Goku and Gohan talk, something came up to her. An old thought that she thought was dead and buried. But the more they talked about strength and competition and martial arts, the voice came back to her. A powerful feminine voice that she had known all too well for years. The one she had that made her want to get into martial arts in the first place.
Videl wanted to fight. No, that was the wrong idea. Videl didn’t just want to fight, she wanted to win. To prove her might to everyone and everything around her. To finally put down the idea that she was just a boring old housewife meant for nothing. The first voice against such an idea was too obvious to even be shocked at. Her own father hit the table with his fists and roared.
“NO WAY MY DAUGHTER IS GETTING INTO THIS INSANE TOURNAMENT THAT COULD KILL HER! I’M NOT LOSING MY BABY GIRL!”
Videl couldn’t be mad at her dad, he was just overly worried. She could be very annoyed, but not at all mad. Though the next person did annoy her very much. It was not her husband though, but Goten!
“Look, no offense Videl… but can you even fight?”
Even… fight… DID HE FORGET SHE WAS A PRO FIGHTER?! Gohan quickly came to her defense, eying his little brother in annoyance, and spoke up with pride.
“Yes, she can! In fact, if I had to choose, I prefer my wife over Frieza in the tournament. I at least know she won’t literally stab me in the back in the middle of it!”
Videl will take that ringing endorsement to heart. Not stabbing her husband in the back is a good thing. Goten just shrugged and thumbed at himself, obviously playing coy the whole time.
“Just saying, you want someone really tough? I can do that job for you. I mean, let’s face it. Not only is Videl a girl, but she’s also human.”
At that comment, most of the table looked at Goten with Chi Chi herself being somewhat annoyed by her own child.
“Could you explain what that means, Goten?”
“Sure, Mom. I love you a lot, but you’re not that strong. Yeah, you used to fight, but that was like a billion years ago, and Videl hadn’t fought in a MILLION years! Besides, even if you two were guys and fought every day, in the end, you’re just human. You aren’t as strong as dad, Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, or well… obviously me! Plus, we can do something no human can ever do. This.”
With that, energy exploded from Goten as it looked like gold energy swirled around him, his eyes changing, and his hair so yellow it looked like all the yellow in the universe was now in his hair. Goten looked so proud of himself as he sat there. Like he had just laid down the ultimate rule of law in the universe, and the only person who could judge what he had just said was himself. Gohan was very annoyed by what his brother had said. Satan, Chi-Chi, and Videl were quite steaming at his comments about humans as a whole. Goku was still devouring his fourth fried steak, and Pan was giggling and gnawing on some baby food. Only Videl broke the sound of the energy swirling around Goten with some sharp words of herself.
“Then how come you aren’t in the team but a bunch of humans are, huh?”
Goten didn’t look so proud of himself after that comment and squinted in annoyance at what his sister-in-law had just said to him. Though a quick look at Gohan showed that he was very much disapproving of his little brother’s sudden change, Goten’s words were somewhat tempered but not quenched.
“That’s a good question Videl. Perhaps Dad and my brother should put me on the team. We are down one, and I think with my super Saiyan abilities, I should be on the team. I’d probably be way stronger than most of the team combined! Not like it’ll be any difficulty on my end to do that, given we accepted Krillin of all people.”
Now Videl went from annoyed, to very mad. Here Goten was, badmouthing everyone and acting like such a cocky little jerk. He was so sure of himself. Unlike her. Videl was hurt that when it came down to it, HE was confident, and she just wasn’t confident in herself! Goten’s braggart personality was getting on her nerves, and his downright insults to her as a human and as a woman really got to Videl. Videl knew she wasn’t any weakling, she’d been training for months! Well, nothing serious, just push-ups and sit-ups and lots of juice. All from the incident with that jerk Barry Khan just two months ago made Videl want to keep fit.
Videl knew she wasn’t exactly the strongest in the world, and would have to do some real working out to regain her old strength, but Videl was damn proud of herself. If Goten wanted to mess with her and make her feel small, he had another thing coming. Goten got a look in the eyes of Videl, and for a brief moment, he was actually a bit intimidated. He didn’t expect her to have such fire and determination in her eyes. It was clear what Videl wanted. Videl wanted to prove exactly how powerful she actually was to the rest of them.
Goten could tell that she wanted to prove how strong she was the most to herself. Goten cracked his knuckles and had a rather evil idea to finally put Videl in her place. Putting his arm on the table, Goten turned off his super Saiyan form and spoke in a voice dripping with contempt for Videl.
“Okay Videl, how about you and I arm wrestle for it. The winner gets to be on the roster for the team.”
Gohan wanted to say something to stop this, but he was far too late. Videl saw Goten’s hand and hearing his words, it hit her. Goten would WIN if she just let this go. Like HELL she will! Videl gladly took his hand, and the two went at it with no warning to the other. This was the first time Goku finally paid attention to the events around him, and everyone was waiting on the fated breath. Mr. Satan and Chi-Chi wanted to put a stop to this just as much as Gohan wanted it to end, yet they were just as mystified as the others by what they were watching. All of them wanted to know what was going to happen.
The first thing all of them noticed, including the two doing the arm wrestling, was how well Videl was doing! Goten may not be as powerful as his dad or brother, but it was very true that he was one of the strongest beings in the universe. Goten was also not one to exactly hold back when it came to physical clashes with others. Despite that, Goten was not bending the arm of Videl. Rather, it was the opposite, as Goku was the first to notice. Videl’s arm was actually pushing down his own son’s arm! Goten couldn’t believe it, and the only person more shocked that this was happening was Videl herself!
Videl couldn’t believe what she was doing, and yet it was not only happening, it was happening quickly! Easily even, and the fact that this was so easy was filling Videl with pride. Here Goten was so smug and confident he was stronger, and now he was losing to this mere human woman. Goten was flabbergasted and applied more force and pressure. Goten could harness his ki to blow apart the planet Earth with a flick of his tongue. HOW WAS HE LOSING TO HIS SISTER-IN-LAW IN AN ARM WRESTLING MATCH?! Goten had to do something fast, and it had to be big. Goten was wondering if this was right, but losing to Videl in an arm wrestling match was a step too far for him. Sorry Videl, Goten thought, but you’re going down.
With that thought in mind, Goten’s ki surged, and now, he had become super saiyan. Goku and Gohan couldn’t believe it. Goten was using his power on Videl, just to win an arm wrestling match? Gohan was ready to finally put a stop to this, but Goku stopped Gohan from moving by placing his hand on Gohan’s shoulder and pointing at the match. Gohan was too shocked and ready to stop this to notice what was going on. When he saw what was happening, Gohan was flabbergasted. Videl was not only still holding her own against Goten as he had achieved super saiyan form, but she was still pushing his arm down! Videl had to admit, she felt the difference in power from Goten when he turned. It was a monumental change. Videl didn’t even feel like she was in danger though, her arm was still winning this match! No, not her arm, Videl was winning the match!
Videl was slowly pushing Goten’s arm, and her dad and Chi Chi were heavily praising her, screaming for her to do it. Hearing Gohan join in the celebration seemed to double Videl’s own strength, and when Pan said ‘Go mommy’ as she raised her little nubby arms caused Videl to nearly enter her own version of a ‘super mom form’ and Videl SMASHED GOTEN’S ARM DOWN! Goten was taken down, the table snapping in two, and all the food and dishes falling to the ground. Goten was stunned, unable to even look or breathe at the fact he was defeated. Videl was breathing hard, amazed by what had just happened and feeling immense pride in herself. Pan was still cheering her mom on, and Goku had a big bright smile and chuckled a bit.
“Well now, it seems we have a new fighter on the team. Welcome to the Universe 7 team, Videl!”
-A week later-
Videl was still unable to comprehend that this was actually happening. Defeating Goten was a week ago, but it still felt like a dream that she had just an hour ago. Training in the past week to regain her fighting skills was also just as easy! Working out in her same routine and practicing martial arts was very fun for her. Gohan did ask Videl how she had gotten so strong and she just told him the truth, that she practiced her workouts in Bulma’s training dojo. Man was Videl shocked to find out that the training dojo wasn’t a personal exercise chamber for rich women, but Vegeta’s own. Discovering she had the setting at 3,000x gravity and barely felt it was also a big surprise to Videl.
Videl was then told to practice her martial arts in the place as well. There, Videl trained in her martial arts courses to regain her skills. That actually took barely any time, and Videl felt like something had changed in her. Like she was improving at an astronomical level. Videl had no idea why she was so much better than she was when she was a younger woman. Videl wondered what may have changed things, and had a few theories. Perhaps motherhood helped give her the kind of personal strength that was key to being a better person. Not just in strength and skill, but raw power. Videl knew that whatever had happened to her, it was an astronomical change. Videl could now do things she had never been able to do.
Her flying ability had grown to where Videl could now fly in loops at 5,000x gravity and not even feel a slight amount of drag. Videl could do Ki blasts once again, firing off thousands of shots just from snapping her fingers. Whatever power she wanted or needed to use, not only did Videl have it, but she was already mastering it before she even fully knew what to do with it. It was one of the grandest things, and Gohan himself could hardly believe it. His wife was a prodigy among prodigies and was learning things that took even his dad weeks to do in what were minutes. Gohan had to admit, that he was actually a bit intimidated by what his wife was doing.
Gohan was also twice as proud of her through every step. Gohan knew that his wife was easily one of the strongest and most amazing people in the universe, and now Videl was going to prove it to everyone in all of existence. The day was upon them, and everything was set up. Chi Chi would take care of Pan, and Videl was updated on what the team had to offer. A lot of super Saiyan power-ups, some Namekian skills, and android stamina, and was even told about Krillin’s destructo disk. Videl knew she had to see that up close.
Videl had to admit, that the tournament as a whole was a big blur to her when it was all being set up. Videl was too busy mentally preparing herself for what was going to happen. Videl knew that with the team on hand, they were the strongest in the universe. But everyone here was the strongest of their own universe. Videl had to admit that a good part of her was wondering why they weren’t facing something like evil Goku, but Gohan told her that was a whole thing already and he’s glad that evil Goku will never be a thing again. Videl looked at all the fighters around her in the tournament, as the teams were ready for the call-out. The one that caught her eye, was one of the few female fighters in the tournament.
Sure there were a few other women, but this woman looked to be different. A lot of the other women around them were a bit more girly and feminine in nature. This woman in her micro top and baggy pants was the most butch of the women and looked powerful. The Ki she was exuding was like a volcano, exploding out in awesome fury and force. The woman looked to be human, or potentially saiyan, and when she got a look at Videl staring at her, the woman smirked and thumbed to her neck as if she was slicing it. Videl had one word to define the woman. Lovely.
If one considered an atomic bomb lovely. Videl grabbed the arm of her husband and tugged on his shirt a bit. Gohan looked at his wife and gave her a big thumbs up. Gohan wanted to give his wife confidence in how they were going to fight these beings, and Videl could feel that she trusted her husband. The ten of them were powerful, but with her husband, Videl knew the power couple was invincible. It would only take a quick moment before the small odd beings that were apparently the kings of everything ever called for the fight to begin. Videl flexed her body, and soon, everyone knew that they had to fight NOW!
The first to even move was, to Videl’s best knowledge, three wolves. Well, more like werewolves dressed like bandits. The three of them leaped through the air, all of them forming together as if they were a leaping werewolf triangle. The three aimed their clawed hands at Videl and the group, and let out a howl. It was a vicious ear-splitting howl, and for most people, this would be the attack. This was just the start of their own attack, because of what was happening inside their throats. A buildup of energy, and it was a powerful buildup. A powerful wave of energy shot out, hurling right at the whole team from Earth.
Most of the team was ready to dodge it or fire their own blasts right at it to take out the three energy blasts coming right at them. Videl though, had her own plan for this kind of attack. Videl leaped right in the air, pulling her arms back and making her hands come close to what resembles claws. Videl was quick, snatching the front of one of their blasts, and twisted her body around. Treating it like it was a ball, Videl used her own Ki to prevent the Ki from exploding in her hands or dissipating. Videl infused her own Ki into the energy, amplifying its power to immense levels. When Videl had done a full spin, she had given the energy in her hand so much energy that it actually blinded the three wolves, even temporarily.
That was just from her holding it in her hands. They had no idea how bad things were going to be for them when she let loose the blast. With a deep breath, Videl let out a warrior's cry and fired her blast like it was a cannon from Kami itself. The absolutely powerful blast shot out with immense speed and force, blasting away completely at who was coming for her. The werewolves saw the blast coming for them and the leader of the pack was the only one to think about maybe he should have listened to his girlfriend and let someone else fight.
The wide energy wave blasted away the trio and hurtled them across the air as they cried out. The three fell off the ringside and were instantly teleported to their ringside. With what had just happened, Universe 7 had drawn the first blood. Not only did that enrage universe six, it placed the rest of the universes on high alert. They also knew that Universe 7 had a powerful threat that wasn’t just Goku. Every single fighter looked at Videl and felt the Ki sure inside of her. They all knew what she was. The biggest threat in the tournament, and if they were going to win, it meant getting her OUT of Universe 7’s team.
They were all going to attack her first, but only one would have the honor of doing so first. A man ready to exact justice on her. Universe 11’s strongest force for justice, Jiren. Jiren was the kind of man who had one belief when it came to exacting justice upon those that he found would be considered evil. Videl wanted to erase his universe, so that meant she was evil. His justice will be proven stronger when he stomps her down and tears her apart. Jiren’s brand of justice was what even his friends would call, very execution style. Jiren disagreed. He wasn’t an executioner, he was a mortician.
Those he exacted justice on would be dead before he even knew it, given his own power. One such fighter saw Jiren moving and charged right at him. Nink considered himself one of the universe's strongest fighters, even among the others in the group. It was true, when it came down to it, he was one of the five strongest beings in Universe 4. Nink didn’t even register with Jiren when Jiren instinctively stuck the charging Nink, even though Nink was behind him. Nink’s face was broken and Nink dropped to the ground, unable to even get up or think about how much pain he was in. He was in all of the pain, as his doctors would tell him. Jiren was gaining on Videl, and he wasn’t the only one.
One of Universe 2’s elite fighters, Zirloin, also had his eye on Videl. He had assumed that his universe had the strongest women in the tournament, and here she is easily defeating three fighters as if they were nothing. From what Zirloin had witnessed, the three wolves were of a Ki power higher than several of his own team. If she could just wipe them out like they were nothing, she was easily one of the biggest threats in the entire tournament. Thus, Zirloin also headed towards her, hoping he’d be the one to defeat such a threat and protect his teammates.
The last one to join in was Hit. Hit had fought Goku and knew he was the strongest fighter in their universe. In his opinion, only five people were an actual threat to him in this tournament. That was until he saw this girl and her blast. Unlike the rest, he easily considered the trio she defeated to be weak and a joke. The fact that this woman though could take their own Ki blast and use it against them was what intrigued him to her. A person with that kind of power was unlike any other. Thus, Hit wanted to test if she was really that powerful, and if she was a potential bigger threat than even the Saiyan warrior himself.
Thus, all three fighters surrounded Videl. Gohan wanted to protect his wife, but because of what Videl had just done, they were made enemy number one. That was, of course, alongside Goku being the source of the tournament in many of the other fighters' eyes. Gohan was busy battling Catopersa and Ganos, both rather powerful fighters, and thus Gohan was too busy to help his wife. Not that Videl would have taken his help, she wanted to really show off her skills. Defeating the three warriors who surrounded her would be a major sign of how powerful Videl REALLY was. Not just to the rest of her team, but to herself as well.
Videl concentrated as the three of them got close, and with a powerful burst of Ki, let loose to the trio a sign of what her power was. An explosion of Ki came out of her, and Jiren and Hit were unaffected by it. Zirloin though, while one of the strongest fighters in his team, was nearly sent hurtling and was forced back a bit, having to resist the burst of Ki. Jiren and Hit knew she was strong, and Zirloin realized immediately right now how screwed he was, and hoped to get out of there. Too bad for him, Videl saw he was the weak link, and attacked him first.
Videl was upon Zirloin before he even knew it. Zirloin was fast, normally so fast he was almost blind to those around him. This time though, he was the one who was blinded by how fast his opponent was. Videl twirled in the air, increasing her own torque as she got closer before she let out one leg to smash right in the face of Zirloin. Zirloin, who had faced attacks that could destroy planets and walk them off, only had one response. Screaming in pain as he went from point A to point B. Point A is where Videl struck him, and point B is VERY far away from where Videl had struck him. Zirloin left the platform, having suffered and already being the first of his team to lose.
Jiren and Hit were surprised by what they had witnessed. Not that she had defeated Zirloin with one hit, they knew she was that powerful. It was the fact that neither SAW her do so, until after she had sent him flying. Jiren had witnessed beings faster than light, and Hit had trained his eyes to see photons moving before light even reached them. They were trained to fight at light speed. They were trained to see PAST it. The fact she was that fast alerted them to how powerful Videl REALLY was, and Videl just standing in front of both fighters on other ends and looking smug, alerted them. It only got worse when she raised both hands and brought the universal sign of bring it for each fighter to know she wanted them to attack.
Jiren and Hit knew it was a trap. That was the only reason she would accept an attack from two foes of immense power. Neither one cared, they knew what had to be done. For the sakes of either their universes, Videl had to go down. Jiren and Hit were already upon her, Jiren banking on his immense power, and Hit his time skip power. Hit skipped time, and Jiren threw a punch that could break reality. Videl felt her body attempting to adapt to something, and so let it happen. Whatever was going on, Videl knew she had to protect herself and did so. Videl had no idea what happened, but when she raised her leg to block a strike from Hit, Hit was FLOORED. Videl had done the impossible.
Her Ki protected her from Hit’s power. Videl was able to easily adapt to the changes of time itself. Jiren’s blow, ready to wipe out everything Videl had, was also stopped by Videl’s elbow. For a brief moment, the three of them stood there. Jiren and Hit were beyond confused by what was going on. They couldn’t believe their eyes or senses, but the reality was happening right in front of them. Videl had easily stopped both their attacks as if they were unable to really do damage to her. They didn’t even know if they were strong enough to make her budge.
That fact made even the normally aloof and calm fighters, Jiren and Hit, rather angry. Jiren lifted his arms up and slammed down right on Videl’s head, while Hit spun around and kicked right at Videl’s own back. Videl blocked both attacks, this time pushed down by the two of them. Hit and Jiren both went on in a massive onslaught, trying to destroy her with a billion attacks as quickly and forceful as they could. Just throwing just about any punch or kick they could throw. Videl was blocking or dodging as much as she could, but she had to admit, it was rather hard to do so.
Her body was struggling to catch up with both of them. Videl was being pushed back, and Jiren with Hit united in their combined attack plan to harm Videl. They were even thinking that they could just get her out of the tournament by ringing her out. Videl barely blocked one hit, when she knew that eventually they’d do damage to her as her arms and legs wouldn’t be fast enough to catch up with them. No, her body was fast enough, it was her mind that was struggling to catch up to them. If Videl were to defeat them, Videl would have to change her method of blocking and dodging.
A thought hit Videl. What if she just stopped trying and let her body do it? Now just about anyone can say that. But doing it was the impossible part. How could anyone do it? Well, as Videl realized, doing it was actually kind of easy. Videl quickly and surely just let her body do all the work, not even allowing her Ki to control or guide it. Just as Jiren’s fist was about to strike Videl’s head and really hit her, Videl just effortlessly dodged it. It was no problem for her to do so, and Videl’s body ducked down and without even thinking, raised herself to strike Jiren in the stomach with her knee. Jiren, who could tank blows that would kill even gods, coughed up some blood from pain.
Whis and Beerus saw what was going on, and Beerus’s eyes bulged in confusion and shock. Whis himself had to admit, he had no idea that Videl was capable of… well, something even CLOSE to this. Videl had just achieved ultra instinct, and Videl had not only done so on her first try, but Videl had also done so without knowing it existed. This meant one thing. Her potential was great, and it was not even close to being close to her maximum. How could anyone debate that, as Jiren and Hit were quick to find out, Videl was only going to go up from here. Hit was the next victim, as Videl sent a kick to his face.
Hit knew that if he cut through time, he would dodge it. Hit skipped time, knowing he had dodged the kick. He was right, having been able to get away from just the attack. Hit though, was not able to see the punch that came for his face, hitting Hit hard in the face. Hit was hit as hard as possible by Videl not even using her body, and Hit dropped to the ground, trying to hold his broken nose. Jiren hoped to do something to save himself, though Jiren was yet again the victim as Videl wrapped her arm around his neck and pulled down Jiren’s neck. Jiren smashed right towards the ground, face first, and Jiren was already wondering if anyone could save him from this force.
The pride squad was nearby, though they didn’t know what to do. The pride squad had built themselves as a force to save each other when battling against evil. Though none of their members had ever seen Jiren need help. Even more, Jiren was the one THEY would call to help them. Seeing Jiren lose so easily against a foe far smaller than him was a confusing sight for them. However, the leader of the pride troopers did not care at all about what was going on. To him, a foe was harming one of their men, so they had to be stopped.
Toppo marched right at Videl as Videl lifted Jiren up and punched him over and over in the face, trying to take him down. Videl didn’t hear Toppo come at her, because he used his Ki to make his footsteps silent. Toppo was right behind Videl before he swung a fist right at the back of Videl’s head. Toppo had no idea what happened next because he had no idea what this amazing power of Ultra Instinct was. Videl ducked right under and turning around like a human spinning top, swept Toppo off his feet and kicked him right in the chest.
Toppo flew right past and a few pride troopers leaped in to save him. The good news was, they were strong enough to break his careening shot. Too bad for them, was that Toppo hit these men so hard that three of the pride troopers were sent out of the ring, having a third of the universe 11 lose so many of their fighters. Toppo was unconscious, and the remaining members looked at Jiren being twirled around and hitting the ground over and over as Videl was making him pay, and the pride troopers did the thing of extreme valor.
Fight anyone else and just pretend that Jiren will somehow get out of this. While Videl was mopping the floor with Jiren, one such fighter in the tournament was a bit different. Caulifla was walking by, observing all the fighters around her and clicking her tongue. These were supposed to be the greatest fighters of the multiverse. But not a single one was impressing her, look at how… WEAK they were! Like for example, the one who was charging her. The one coming at her was Comfrey, a warrior who among his people had defeated over a dozen attempted invasions and had even defeated a frost demon. In his universe, he was one of the strongest warriors to ever exist in all of the universe few billion years of existence.
Caulifla didn’t even pretend to care he was a threat, slapping him aside with a backhand and Comfrey flew out of the ring. The next foe in her eyes to crush was Harmira, who saw what she had done and he considered her a big threat. Aiming his arm at her, he made sure to concentrate all his Ki in it. Harmira was a sniper who could take out targets from planets away and was known as the deadliest assassin in his universe. Firing the Ki blast, it would normally take down almost any who was hit with the blow. Caulifla didn’t even bother to see it coming at her as she used one hand to flick back the Ki blast, hitting Harmira with such force that he was sent out of the ring as well. Caulifla was wondering when anyone was going to impress her when she saw one fighter get sent flying.
Obni, the strongest fighter from Universe 10, was taken down and out of the ring. Caulifa could tell that he wasn’t like the previous two, he was someone of some worth. Meaning whoever had defeated him, was actually someone strong. The person who defeated him was a breathing hard Gohan who cracked his neck and attempted to rebuild some of his power.
“Man, that Obni was powerful. Even stronger than Cell, and a better fighter. Better rest up before I fight someone as strong as him, or more.”
That was when Gohan saw who was staring right in front of him, and put up his defense. Gohan knew that this woman was a Saiyan, and just from feeling her Ki, Gohan could tell her Ki was massive. Far more than Obni. This was a bad situation, already fighting someone even stronger than Obni. Caulifla grinned as she noticed that Gohan was also a Saiyan like her. That meant that he must be a true warrior, unlike almost everyone else in this tournament. Caulifla bounced up and down, raising her arms and ready for the fight. Gohan didn’t underestimate her. With Obni, Gohan went all out. But for Caulifla, he was going to have to go even further than that.
Gohan took a deep breath, and as he sucked in the artificial air, let out a powerful roar and exploded with Ki, going super saiyan. It was a massive burst of energy, one that alerted damn near everyone in the fight. Goku was glad to see his son now fighting as Goku was putting down a fighter, Vegeta was impressed to see that Gohan actually had trained for the past few months as Vegeta tossed a fighter away, and Videl was giddy. Her husband was reminding everyone how powerful he really was, as Gohan charged at Caulifla. Caulifla didn’t know what to expect, as she put her arms up to protect herself, and Gohan kicked her arms.
Caulifla moved back and felt her arms shiver. This wasn’t something she had felt since… ever. An actual strong foe and it was a fellow Saiyan. Caulifla was happy to have this happen to her. For the past while, Caulifla had feared no one around was even close to worthy. This man, striking her again with a powerful elbow strike to her chin, actually made Caulifla swear. A strong warrior was one of the few things that actually got Caulifla going, and with potentially the strongest foe she had ever faced against her, now she could go all out. Caulifla charged right at Gohan, hitting Gohan hard square in the chest. Gohan had faced many foes and felt immense pain. The worst he ever felt was when Cell beat him to near death. This though, not only was she stronger than Super Buu… she hurt more than Cell hurt him.
Gohan was a stronger person than when he fought Cell, in several ways, and fought back in by kicking her straight in the face. Caulifla was pushed back hard, though the woman didn’t have much problem as she kicked Gohan’s own leg. Gohan let out a terrible scream because he recognized what it had felt like. His leg was broken. It couldn’t be possible, but this woman was as strong as him when he was a Super Saiyan, while she wasn’t. Caulifla had to admit, that being kicked in the face actually did do something for her. The blow against her was something that made her own Ki enhance up to battle against it.
Caulifla’s Ki was forced to increase, and now she was releasing some pent-up energy. What it needed, was something to loosen it up. Being struck by such a powerful blow was the one that finally let it out. Thanks to that, Caulifla was growing in power, and Caulifla was going in fast. Caulifila punched Gohan square in the chest, and this actually caused Gohan to spit up some blood as he dropped to his knees. As painful as the strike was to his leg, this one was even worse. Gohan trembled and was in some agony. Caulifla was enjoying the power and raised her fist to strike him down, hard.
Gohan though, was not yet done with things. Gohan let out a powerful burst and nearly sent Caulifla flying. Everyone, with Videl herself saw what had happened. Goku and Vegeta thought Gohan had gone Super Saiyan 2, but the power was too much. Gohan stood up and now had a blue aura around him. He had reached Super Saiyan Blue. A power that he needed and didn’t exactly want to use. Gohan grabbed Caulifla by her arm and gripped it. Caulifla let out a pained howl, and Gohan lifted her up as his face was mixed with anger and an unimpressed nature. It was a power that was shaking the very arena, and Caulifla knew she had to do something to win against him, or she would get squashed like a bug. Caulifla knew that she was stronger than him before he turned yellow, and whatever happened next, he became a LOT stronger.
The kind of power that would be needed by feeling the rage in her. Losing any fight would be too much for her, and losing the biggest fight of her life would be just too much. Caulifla let out a powerful roar, and energy burst around her as her body surged, and suddenly became a super saiyan. Caulifla was able to resist the hold of Gohan and strike him across the face. Goham was pushed back, as Caulifla attacked Gohan several times. Gohan was more than mighty enough to block her blows, but she was mighty. Very mighty.
Videl didn’t worry though, Gohan was clearly able to handle her. Videl knew she could defeat far more people before Gohan did, and wanted to prove it. Videl finally, after being bored of slapping around Jiren like the tool that he was, sent Jiren flying with a kick. Jiren hurtled across the air and screaming in fear, was out of the tournament. The god of destruction of Universe 11 suddenly knew they were doomed, and was hiding in shame. Champa though, while unsure of how Videl could have hurt Hit so much, knew Hit was different than most. He wasn’t a fighter, he was an assassin!
Hit won fights not with martial arts or skill, but with perfect assassin techniques! Videl was ready to handle things with Hit, but Hit cut through time to uppercut right at her throat. Hit wanted to instantly strike her throat and finally finish her off with a death blow that would kill any opponent he had struck it. Videl didn’t know what was going on, but her power was able to help her feel what was going on. The Ki sensed what was approaching, and did the one thing that would truly defend her from such an attack. It copied what had happened. With that, Videl’s ultra instinct activated the ability for her, and Videl skipped the attack that was meant for her.
Hit had no idea what had happened, but he knew his fate when he saw the foot of Videl come right for the side of his head. Hit knew, that he had finally failed the first mission of his life. Too bad for everyone in his universe, it was the single most important one of all. Hit fell out of the ring, and Champa let out a horrified scream. Despite his agony at losing what he believed to be their greatest warrior, the angel of the universe noticed the two women of their own universe were doing rather well. Caulifla was challenging a super saiyan blue Gohan and while she was unable to deal great damage to him, she was more than holding her own.
Next, was Kale. Before, the girl seemed to be the weak link of the universe as a cowering child. But because several fighters bullied her, she was able to explode in a rage and become her universe’s legendary super-saiyan. While these two women were rather impressive, and a few more were showing how amazing they themselves were, there was no doubt who the superior woman in all of these events was. One who might seem to surpass just about everyone around her. Videl, who had with less than ease, knocked aside yet another fighter, Shosha, like he was just a dust mite to her. How could any fighter have any hope against her when she defeated Jiren and Hit so easily?
Well, two fighters agreed. Despite being from different universes, each one knew they stood NO chance against a fighter of Videl’s level. Cocotte from universe 11, and Jimizu from universe 2. Both fighters had witnessed what Videl had done, and come to a temporary truce. Because no one noticed the two in the massive onslaught of everyone else fighting, the two ‘play fought’ to discuss the plan. Both witnessed each others unique power during the tournament and knew how powerful these gifts would be in a conflict. Cocotte waited for the perfect opportunity to strike against Videl, and finally saw it. Cocotte nodded at Jimizu, and he instantly used his gift as she did.
Cocotte could create a barrier, and a powerful one at that. With no hesitation, she formed one around Videl to stop her movements. While this barrier had been known to hold back warlords, Cocotte had no delusion that it was powerful enough to hold back even Videl. It did have the power to make sure she was exactly where she wanted her to be. Next, was Jimizu, who could instantly teleport where he had wanted to be if he saw it. Teleporting to right behind Videl was easy. Grabbing her and teleporting the both of them out of the barrier was also easy. The plan to defeat Videl was as simple as it was brilliant.
Jimizu was outside of the ring while holding Videl, and he teleported instantly away. Now even with the rules of flight removed, their was a way to get out of this by blasting oneself as a rocket with their Ki blasts back. That was, if Cocotte allowed it, which she did not! Cocotte activated her barrier around Videl, knowing that it would deflect any blast weak to it, but even if it was so powerful it would destroy the barrier, all that would happen is it would cancel out her escape. Videl was doomed, and with her gone, defeating Jimizu would be a piece of cake.
That was the plan she had concocted, and Jimizu had his own plan to take Cocotte out, but neither could even begin either one when Videl… did not fall. Cocotte couldn’t believe it, she made sure the barrier had no floor! That way, Videl would just fall down to the void and be ringed out. How could she be standing when… and Cocotte’s eyes nearly bulged out of her skull. Videl was WALKING towards them, small flickering lights below her feet. Videl had somehow not only created the barriers, she had done so on her first try. No, even more, she did so while creating several barriers all at the same time. Videl had easily mastered it, and her body moved through the barrier, instantly dispelling it.
Cocotte couldn’t understand how she was simply surpassed in such an easy and obvious way. This had to be an illusion, and so she attacked with a triple barrier attack. Trapping her there, Cocotte could then expand the power of the barriers and crush her from within with all the full force of the barriers, with triple the power. That was the idea, though like so many others, Videl had her own ideas. Videl created a barrier around herself, and expanded it, shattering the barriers around her like glass! Cocotte was surpassed in the power that she was not only born with, but had mastered through years of use, by a novice first timer.
It was then that the barrier above her that Videl created finally snuck up upon her, and smacked her down upon tne ground with such force that it knocked her out. Than, with a barrier acting like a sweeper, it gently pushed the unconscious Cocotte out of the fighting arena as if she was a bug being scraped away. With Cocotte gone, Jimizu was left and he had no idea what to do. While he was considered rather powerful from his universe, he wasn’t even close to third place among his team, and here was Videl, who easily took down one of the aces from his team. Jimizu had no idea how to even scratch her, no less take down such a force.
But Jimizu was no coward, he was a champion for all Yardats everywhere! Even the ones from other universes, he fights to prove the Yardats are not the cowards the universe calls them, but proud warrior champions! Jimizu decided to use the one gift he had that Videl could have no logical defense for. His instant transmission, his ability to teleport as quickly as he can. Jimizu instant transmission right above her and fired off a powerful blast. It was his hope that because he surprise attacked her, Videl would have no defense against the attack from her barriers or her own natural Ki. It was a deadly attack, and while Jimizu was no powerhouse compared to most of the other fighters, he wasn’t close to the weakest in the tournament.
The barrage of heavy fire power attacked the top of Videl’s head, letting out almost every single one of his power upon her. As he unloaded everything, Jimizu had suspected that Videl was already a blown away girl. Too bad for him, that Videl was not even below him as the attack came. While his instant transmission attack was able to surprise Videl, her UI more than protected her, and copied the fastest way to dodge the attack. Videl herself instant transmissioned out of the way. Videl teleported instantly in front of Nigrissi, and while Nigrissi was shocked to see Videl, Videl knew how she was going to handle Jimizu.
Videl grabbed Nigrissi, and instantly teleported them right below Jimizu. Jimizu didn’t know what was going on, and was still firing, as now Videl was below him, holding up Nigrissi as a human shield. Nigrissi took every single one of the Ki blasts, his body being crushed by the barrage of blasts. It was a while before Jimizu finally finished his attack, draining himself and all his Ki from all of it, to just a fraction of the fraction of his own Ki. Jimizu finally fell, his Ki blasts keeping him up as he dropped right on the body of Nigrissi. Jimizu looked below, at the agonized and in pain body of Nigrissi, and how he was held up by Videl. Jimizu gulped, and his body was covered in sweat.
Jimizu didn’t even have time to run away or beg for mercy before Videl tossed him aside. Both Jimizu and Nigrissi were tossed out of the ring, and the two of them were out of the tournament. Videl cracked her neck, and felt a lot of pride in herself. Not only was she taking out so many of the foes of her universe across the multiverse, the rest of her team was also doing well. Roshi had taken down a fighter from Universe 4, Krillin, 18, and 17 were handling the remains of the pride troopers, Tien was able to handle the idol trio thanks to his martial arts skills, Vegeta had just knocked out two fighters from Universe 10, Piccolo was in battle with two namekians at once and was winning, bit the main two focus was Gohan and Goku.
Gohan was still going against Caulifla, and no matter what Caulifla had against Gohan, their was no way she was able to catch up. Gohan was stronger, faster, and had superior martial arts skills to her. The only reason Caulifla wasn’t already taken down, was because she was fighting with all of her fury against such a torrential force. The real focus though, was on Goku against Kale. Kale’s power as a legendary super saiyan, while making her one of the single strongest people in the tournament, was barely able to even match up against Goku with his power. Against Goku, Kale was doing far worse against her opponent than Caulifla was against Gohan.
This was supposed to be the sign of Universe seven’s obvious chances of victory, and every other God of destruction and supreme kai of the other universes had felt that their defeats were inevitable. Beerus himself was an absolute delight, not only was his universe winning, they were dominating, and nothing could stop them. At first, Beerus had assumed that having Videl on the team was one of the biggest weaknesses to the team. One fighter who was now useless to them, and with most of the team having low power compared to the rest, they were at a massive disadvantage.
Instead, while the weaker fighters were far better fighters than most of the other fighters in the tournament, Videl was the lynchpin of the team's victory over the others. Videl had taken down more foes than anyone else in the tournament, at least two of them being some of the biggest threats to Universe 7, and with the wolf trio also gone, the elites of another universe. Beerus was proud of Videl and knew her fighting with them was the best choice for these events. The angel of universe 6, Vados, knew what was going to happen. Vados looked at the strongest fighter in the tournament and was waiting for her to finally let loose.
It was after Tien had defeated one of the idols, that everything changed. Goku was exhilarated by Tien’s victory and knew he was going to have to catch up to match the rest of the other fighters. Goku decided that Kale was as dangerous as Hit, and so he had to hit her with his strongest form. Goku went Kaio-Ken 20x and hit Kale as hard as he could in her chest. The monstrous legendary super saiyan Kale, for all her raw power and almost animalistic fury, was not strong enough to not let out a pained scream and hit the ground. The sound was overheard by everyone in the tournament, and while Goku felt somewhat bad for his foe, he had no problem kicking her in the face as hard as he could. Kale let out the scream once again, this one even greater as an ear-piercing howl of agony.
Goku finally took out Kale with a mighty punch, knocking Kale out and sending her out of the ring. As Kale fell out of the ring, she let out a pained scream once again. This time, it was more a whimper, than a powerful roar. Beerus thought this was an amazing victory, and was ready to cheer… when Whis stopped Beerus. Whis saw Vados, his sister, and Vados was smirking. In pure absolute delight at what had just happened. Whis was confused, from what he could tell, this woman was a potential ace on equal to Hit, why was his sister happy when Kale was removed from the fight?
Whis then immediately felt the burst of force. Every Angel felt it. Videl hitting Ultra Instinct was impressive and made the angels admire her. But the power they were now feeling, was FAR greater than what they had felt. Videl was impressive. THIS… was scary. Whis could even feel his own hand shaking as it held the staff. Whis didn’t know what to say, but he did point at the fighter for Beerus to look at. Beerus felt the power himself, and he was scared.
Standing there, was Caulifla. Caulifla was enraged at watching Kale get taken down. Kale was hurt and in pure pain from the force of Goku’s blows. Gohan also knocking her around and humiliating her was causing greater fury in Caulifla. What had finally gotten her to her absolute rage though, was the smiling duo of Goku and Gohan. The two Saiyans of the rival universe were humiliating the women, and Caulifla knew what had to be done. Caulifla was going to have to put Gohan down. The way to do so was to let out all of her power, and as she let it out, bring it back in… and let it burst again. This time, as much as she can. Caulifla was exuding energy as her body began to change.
The person most affected by Caulifa’s growing power was Gohan, who was nearly tossed out of the ring as his super saiyan blue form was flickering the whole while. Gohan thought that, in an impossible way, Caulifla was becoming super saiyan blue. That was not what was going on. Caulifla was actually surpassing that form, and becoming something that was downright impossible. Her tail around her was the reason this was working. Caulifla still had a connection to the great ape form, and with her fury and power going in and out of her at the same time, her body was morphing. No one was able to get near her, as the tournament felt like a black hole was there.
Everyone dropped to the ground, and when Gohan was pushed away, everyone was dragged near. The energy flashed from gold… to black. It was when it became black, that the force of energy upon everyone was gone. Now, Caulifla was standing still and was different. A form that seemed to be a mix of super saiyan, and great ape. A form that could, in any way, be called Super Saiyan 4. A mix of the might of super saiyan, and the great ape. In not just body and personality, but sheer raw power. Caulifla was now… the single strongest person in the arena. Bar none. Her power was also radiating to such levels that it actually made a sound. It sounded like drums were being beaten.
The heaviest drums and ones that were closer to metal than the regular cloth drums. Gohan felt his heart tug at him and his brain was screaming at him. It was a garble of noises, with Gohan barely making one word out of the whole thing. Run. Never before had Gohan heard this voice yell at him as hard as it did before. From Radditz to Nappa to Vegeta to Frieza to Cell to Buu, he knew running was the smarter choice. This though, the voice now was louder than all those previous times combined. The voice warned Gohan but he had to ignore it. Gohan was to fight Caulifla, and nothing would stop him.
Then, Caulifla took a step forward. Gohan’s entire body freaked out and Gohan felt like he had to take a step back. Just before he did, he noticed something below his feet. Gohan was just about to step out of the ring. Gohan had no idea how this could have happened, he knew where he was. Gohan was nowhere near the edge. If he was here, that meant he was running away from Caulifla as she had gotten closer to him. Gohan was now certain that if he was going to survive against her, he was going to have to attack Caulifla with all the force of his Ki energy. It was going to use up everything he had, but if he was going to survive against Caulifila, he had to do so.
Gohan let out a powerful burst of energy, and it filled around him, swirling at speeds like a hurricane. It was clear the intent was to not only defend himself against the incoming Caulifila but also stop her where she was dead cold and hit her hard. Gohan pumped up the energy as his Ki increased in power, radiating with flashing colors of purple, red, yellow, and blue. It was a booming force that was even loud. Gohan was certain he was protected, as even the ground was being shredded by just the speed and force of his own Ki. Gohan smirked a bit and flexed his muscles in pride at how powerful he was.
Gohan didn’t even see it coming, but a fist came out and hit Gohan square in the face, and then with a wave of the hand, dissapitated the hurricane. Gohan backed away and felt a ringing as his face welted from just the force of the blow. It hurt too much for him to even think as his eyes were struggling to stay awake. His nose was bloody and Gohan’s legs buckled from what had hit him. Gohan had never been hit with such a force, and he looked at who had just destroyed his Ki force as if it was just a weak gust and was now standing against him with the fury of a powerful war goddess after she had hit him with such a powerful punch. Standing there, was Caulifla, who was not yet done with making Gohan pay.
Gohan wanted to do something to protect himself, but despite his brain being one of the greatest assets in his life, it wasn’t even quick enough to come up with an idea. Caulifila grabbed him by his throat and clenched it with the force to nearly rip it out. Gohan couldn’t even think about how much pain he was in, from just the force alone of her choke hold against him. Gohan tried to kick her legs as hard as he could, but he didn’t even have any time to do so. Not that he even could, the pain overwhelmed his senses to such a degree that Gohan couldn’t even wrinkle his pinky if he tried.
Gohan took a look at the face of Caulifila and saw what was all over her face. Hate, hate for Gohan, and hate for not being strong enough to battle him until now. Pride, pride in that now she was able to dominate Gohan so easily as if he was nothing to her. What was the greatest emotion upon her face, was absolute glee. Caulifila had finally gained a power that she never knew she had, and yet as the energy was building inside her, making her stronger every second that she had this powerful form, Caulifila knew she was meant for this. It was almost like everything in her life was building up from birth to this very moment. Now with this power, she was going to use it against the person who helped her become this.
Caulifla raised Gohan in the air and was ready to throw him down to the ground as hard as she could. Gohan though, did have allies. The first to run to his defense was his own father, Goku. Goku hit Super Saiyan Blue 20x and was full of rage. This woman was brutalizing his son, and thought that she was going to get away from this. No, no he’ll make her know what happens when one lays their hand on his son. Goku leaped right at her and pulling his fist back, flexed as hard as he could and let out a powerful roar as he thew what he called the dragon fist, the single strongest blow he had from his own body. One with enough power to knock out just about any person there.
Caulifila didn’t even look at him as she raised a hand to block the punch. Caulifla didn’t even bother to apply too much force as she gripped the fist of Goku, her attempted attacker. Goku, who was no stranger to pain and had grown accustomed to this phenomenon, let out a pained scream of agony as she stopped his punch. Caulifila finally took a look at the screaming Goku, and let out a hiss at his weak and cringing form after she had casually broken his fist as easily as she did.
“You. I recognize you.”
Caulifila was never known to be a silent woman, tending to scream when it wasn’t needed or wanted. Now though, her voice was in a whisper. It should have made her voice sound weaker and more silent, but instead, it boomed in the ears of Gohan and Goku, making them almost bleed in the ears just from hearing her. Caulifila looked at the two Saiyan warriors, knowing that she was missing something. Sensing it from behind, her tail shot out and wrapped itself around the neck of someone who had tried to attack her from behind. The attacker was instantly stopped, despite being Super Saiyan Blue himself.
Right then and there, Caulifla was holding on to the three Saiyans of the team, crushing the windpipe of two and the hand of one. Gohan, Goku, and Vegeta were all unable to do anything against this one Saiyan. It wasn’t just because of her naturally powerful form, but whatever this new form was, the three knew one thing was clear. It was superior to Super Saiyan Blue, and it was a form that was just too much for the three to even compete against if they all combined against her. The three WANTED to do something, rise up in power, and surge up against her, but it didn’t work. None of them had the power to work together.
What they could do, was listen to Caulifila. Whatever had changed in her, it wasn’t just her raw power that had altered her. Caulifla had also changed as a being, now being sterner and crueler in disposition.
“When I heard I was to battle fellow Saiyans from another universe, being told that they were truly the strongest in all of the universes, I had hoped you would all be worthy of this reputation. At first, I thought you had when I saw you all battle. Even when I was being defeated by one of you, I felt pride. That at least I was defeated by a true Saiyan warrior. It was my hope that you would actually prove to be worthy. Yet the second that I have transformed to this form, I waited for you to also change. Not only did none of you do so, it is now clear to me who is superior in every way. I did not break and cower when defeated, yet here you three do when I apply just a small amount… of force.”
When Caulifla did so, the grip she had on all of the fighters increased to immense degrees. Gohan, Goku, and Vegeta were now in too much pain for their nerves to even function, the trio of Saiyan warriors were in such agony that they couldn’t even bother to scream or move around. They stopped any ideas of even doing something against Caulifla because none of them had any power to do something against her. Caulifla wanted to feel joy in what she was doing to them, but the fact of the matter is, that she was simply bored with all of them.
This was the limit of their power, and she was so far beyond it, that it was weak of HER to crush them. Crushing them was not in her interest, and instead, she decided to finish off all three of them. Caulifla let out an immense outburst of energy, throwing all of them aside as if they were trash. Which they were to her, despite being some of the absolute most powerful people in the universe. The burst of energy was so great that it hit dozens of other fighters, taking them out of the arena immediately. Some were even from Universe 6, and none could hold on. The only ones not affected by this immense energy swell were those on the far edges of the rings.
Dozens of fighters were sent flying and falling out of the ring. Both Zeno’s watched all of these fighters get sent out and only had one response. Wipe out a universe and two. Universe 2, 4, and 9 had lost all of their fighters and thus were eliminated from the tournament. The tournament had less than 20 fighters left, and one of the few left was Cabba. Cabba barely dragged himself to her, holding on to his body as he got closer to her. Cabba was a bit afraid and looked at a few of the remaining fighters. Only a small few were those of power, with Universe 3 and 6 having the only large number of fighters left. Cabba actually fist-pumped a bit, a bit enjoyed by what he was seeing.
“You did an amazing job Caulifla. Now we can win this…”
Cabba didn’t even finish his sentence. Cabba was one of the single strongest Saiyans to ever live, and having achieved Super Saiyan 2, he was now closer to the level of Vegeta or Goku. But to Caulifla, he was just yet another disappointment of a Saiyan, and so had to be punished. Caulifla was in absolute rage, but only towards her fellow Saiyans. The reason for her rage, as she backhanded Cabba, was due to Kale being defeated. Kale lost… and in such a pathetic way. Actually crying out in pain! Caulifla was the most powerful Saiyan in every single universe, and that should have been a good thing.
A sign of her absolute power of being the best warrior among a race of perfect warriors. The idea that even the strongest of them were such… WEAKLINGS compared to her though, that was an insult. An insult to everything that she had wanted to be and had finally become. It was in a way, attempting to RUIN this perfect power. Caulifla refused to be compared to the weaklings that were attempting to surround her. Caulifla was pure in her body, absolute perfection, and having defeated so many had proven it. Removing this weakling by flicking him aside as if he were just a toy was an absolute delight to Caulifla.
Despite removing one of the few fighters left on her side, no one on her side wanted to stop her. Caulifla was invincible, and would easily defeat the REST of the teams. Who could stop her? Not a single being there was able to match her. It was as Champa was ready to celebrate, that Beerus looked at his side. 9 fighters. All were injured and humiliated… but nine. Not ten. Beerus looked down, and when he saw the remaining fighter approaching Caulifla, Beerus was filled with equal pride with Champa. They were not going to lose, and it was because of this fighter who was about to challenge Caulifla.
Caulifla’s Ki was surrounding her and protecting her body like a personal force field. When one of the few fighters left, Mulithim, saw that she was seemingly not close to defending herself, he knew he had to attack. Hit her with a barrage of blasts that would tear her apart. Given he was one of the strongest fighters from his own side, he was absolutely certain that his attacks would take her down. Mulithim fired off a dozen energy blasts at her, and the energy blasts bounced right off her shield and hit him, sending him flying out of the ring and knocking him out. Caulifla didn’t even notice what had happened to him, her force field was already protecting herself. What else could harm her?
Caulifla was yanked by her hair and pulled around for a gut punch. Caulifla let out a
Yelp as the pain overwhelmed her body and her entire body shook from the body blow. Caulifla had no idea what happened to her, and how could she, she had believed nothing in the universe could harm her. Caulifla was right, nothing from HER universe could harm her. No, her opponent was from another, and she was VERY mad at what Caulifla had done. Pulling at the hair of Caulifla, the woman smashed her face right into the face of Caulifla and growled so hard that the Saiyan’s body actually vibrated.
“You hurt my husband, Gohan. I’m his wife, Videl, and let me tell you, I’m the kind of wife that HURTS those who hurt my husband.”
Videl was ready to show her how true she was in that statement when she elbowed the head of Caulifla as hard as she could. It was a quick yet forceful jab that almost broke the face of Cauliflla and made the Saiyan woman step back in pain. Videl was nowhere near done, grabbing onto the shoulders of Caulifla and lifting her whole body up, smashing her own knee into the stomach of her foe. Caulifla was in agony, but unlike so many other foes, her power was still incredible. The sense of pain that was hitting her actually didn’t make her dizzy, no it actually caused her to become incentivized to hit back with even greater force.
Videl wanted to attack her yet again with an even greater amount of force, but Caulifla wouldn’t allow it. Videl attempted to strike her yet again with another knee strike, but Caulifla whipped her tail out like it was an anaconda, and wrapped itself around the neck of Videl. With a mighty grip on the neck of Videl, Caulifla ripped her off her body and whipping her hips as she did, smashed Videl right on the ground. The attack was not even close to harming Videl, but it was quick enough to remove her foe from her and Caulifla raised her leg to stomp right down on the face of Videl.
Videl felt blood well up and Caulfila went on and on with the attack. Caulifla was stomping harder with each force, and faster as she had done so. Caulifla’s wish to punish Videl for harming her was being surpassed by an idea welling up in Caulifla’s mind. Why was Videl glowing? The reason was made immediately known when Caulifla let out a burst of her own Ki, pushing Caulifla right off the woman and Caulifla skidded right across the floor. Caulifla wiped her hands over her eyes to look at what was going on and could see that Videl was standing there in a blue-and-white glow.
Videl was now using all of her might for the next few attacks, and Caulifla was ready for this kind of onslaught. Caulifla lifted herself up, letting out an equally powerful burst of Ki in response to what Videl was doing. The two women stood across from each other, having delivered blood at the other, and were now sizing each other up. Looking at how the other seemed to be. Caulifla was taller than Videl, and leaner with more muscle. But Videl was a woman who had a presence to her and her features seemed to be sharper. Especially her eyes, as she looked Cauilifla up and down. The two women’s Ki were bursting, and as they clashed, they actually began to knock down a few fighters from the ring.
Their power was so evident that even those in the stands were feeling it, and Gohan had to admit he was lucky that Videl was a good wife as he gulped. Even the gods and angels themselves were a bit intimidated by what they were witnessing. They believed that Goku and Jiren were the most powerful mortals to ever exist. Instead, it was these two women who were vastly stronger than any being could have ever been fathomed. With the Ki burst affecting everyone, some of the fighters were even pushed out of the arena. Only one was able to stand against it, and his rage was growing.
How dare HE be humiliated in such a way from before? He was the leader of the pride troopers, and by GOD did he have pride in that! So much pride in fact, that he was bursting with it and was transforming. Toppo was becoming a god of destruction, and his body, alongside his Ki, was fully altered. Standing there, Toppo’s own Ki burst out and everyone around felt it. At that moment, he was one of the strongest beings there, his power more than doubled when he had become a god of destruction, and he was already one of the single strongest fighters before he became a god. Toppo, as a god of destruction, pointed both his hands at the women and growled his next words.
“HAKAI.”
Toppo wanted to eliminate both women and finally prove he was the strongest. When the two women were hit with the Hakai, they were a bit annoyed at the attempt to disintegrate their own Ki. Both women, without even looking away from each other, aimed a finger at Toppo and let out a burst of energy. The two energy beams hit Toppo so hard that they sent him out of the arena, knocking him out and knocking his own sense of being a god out of him. That should have been one of the biggest things to happen then and there. That wasn’t.
No, it was what Videl did next. Videl saw that Caulifla actually used more Ki than Videl, and that meant Videl was the stronger of the two for half a second. Videl let out all her energy, and it rumbled with force, shaking everyone in the vicinity and sending almost all of them out of their feet. As universes were erased, leaving only seven and six left, Videl was now upon Caulifla, delivering a devastating blow right upon Caulifla’s cheek. Cauliflower backpedaled from the amazingly powerful blow that sent even further shockwaves than any blow from a fist could have done for any other being. Caulifla tried to protect herself and lifted her tail up to guard her from any future attack. It was meant to be a shield.
Videl didn’t even care to see the attack, swiping it aside and tackling Caulifla as hard as she could. With a full-force tackle that was more than meant to knock Caulifla off guard while doing as much damage as she could, Videl knew that blow after blow was going to rain upon her as she held her tight. Caulifla was no weakling, and despite all the pain that was upon her and her body nearly breaking, Caulifla was still more than enough to break down this woman who was trying to break her in half. Raising both her arms, she attacked Videl as forcefully as she could.
Videl had to admit, the blows were more than enough to make her feel like her body was about to tear apart. However, Videl was not going to let her go. Videl squeezed Caulifla’s body as hard as she could, and so the two of them were less than a contest of who could hit harder, and who could take the damage. Caulifla was a strong woman, and Videl was a furious woman. The blows upon her body made her shiver and nearly break apart, but with all of her muscles tensing up as she did as she squeezed Caulifla, Videl was more than able to hold herself up against this kind of attack.
Videl was not the one who broke, and Caulifla did. Caulifla was unable to keep on striking and her punches got weaker, her body dangling as she did. Videl assumed that now she had finally defeated Caulifla, and could just throw her aside and win this match. Videl was ready to toss her away as far and hard as she could when Caulifla let out a massive scream and a burst of Ki energy. Videl was unable to hold on to the shot as if it were a supernova that exploded right in her arm. Videl let out a horrified scream from pain and finally let go, and looked at Caulfila. Videl was confident she knocked her out.
Videl did. The woman standing there was not Calufila… but more what Caulifla’s rage was. An unconscious monster in the form of a woman, her eyes now white. The unconscious woman snarled at Videl, and leaped right at her. Videl told herself she was ready for the attack. But no one could ever prepare for what was coming, not from a force this fast and this powerful. Videl had no time to raise her arm in defense before Caulifla kicked her square in the chest with enough force to make it seem like everyone there felt the weight behind the kick. Caulifla’s unconscious form moved faster than her body would have let her if she was aware and alert. It was as if she wa reacting in a way like the ultra instinct Videl herself had.
It was hard for Videl to react to such a force, both unstoppable in strength and blinding in speed. Videl thought she had Caulifla twice, once when she grabbed the back of her neck only for Caulifla to slip out and strike her knees, and another when she yanked at the shoulder of Caulifla. That time, the pain was far worse when Caulfila jabbed her right in the face with enough force and fury to nearly pop Videl’s own head off. Videl couldn’t understand how any being could be this powerful and this dangerous. Than, as the next fist came for her, Videl blinked… and no longer saw Caulifla. Videl saw the man in her nightmares. Someone she was now vastly stronger than… and yet seeing his visage made her knees buckle and her mind cower.
Spopovich. Videl knew that he wasn’t there, that the person in front of her was Caulifla, and that ignoring it would be the way to win this fight. That is what her brain told her, and as her body moved to block any further blows from Caulifla, she wanted to believe it. Her belief that her opponent wasn’t the single strongest faded when Caulfila caught her wrist and smashed her head against Videl’s face. Videl felt the blood flow and as it did, her heart beat even faster than it was before. Her brain told her that it wasn’t Spopovich who was beating her. Her heart told her, that he had returned with a vengeance, and stronger than ever.
Videl’s body froze up at the idea, and the onslaught against her only got worse. The more Videl tried to defend herself against the force, the more the memories of her fight with Spopovich grew. The pain that was brought from such a fight made her movements slow down and some even non existent, and the pain from Caulifla’s own punches and kicks reminded Videl of the torture. It was pure agony, and while her body was wracked with pain over and over from these vicious attacks, her mind was doing all the real work when it came to the torture. These were attacks that Videl was remembering from the past and in the present, and how she was feeling was only making things worse for her. Fear was taking over, and soon, she was huddled into a ball, desperately hoping for these attacks to just end.
Despite her wishes, Caulifla was nowhere near done. Caulifla smashed her hands right against the ears of Videl, which did more than just hurt her. It caused her entire body to shake from the pain and Videl couldn’t hear anything. Caulifla had her tail descend down to hook itself around her neck and lifted Videl right in the air, as Caulfila growled right at her. Caulfila was unconscious, but her power and ferocity were still as mighty as they could be. One could say that it was just because of how her body was defending herself against a great threat. The more likely answer was her sheer hatred towards her foe.
Videl was a true foe to her, a danger to the saiyan warrior, and had to be put down before this threat grew. Caulifla’s body and instincts weren’t fighting her to win a fight. The body was fighting her to finally slay her. Take her down, and end her life. Caulifla cocked both arms back and the growl in her body grew deeper and louder. It was a growl that shook not just Videl, but was shaking the very arena. Rubble itself fell out of the arena, unable to even stay when she was there. All those watching the fight had no idea what was going on, the force was just too much for anyone to feel. Even a few of the fighters there were shaking from the pressure of the vibrational force.
The growls alone would have been enough to ruin the body of anyone else. That wasn’t even close to what Caulifla wanted to hurt Videl with. Caulifla threw a heavy punch right at the stomach of Videl, and Videl coughed up some blood and her body shook. Caulifla let out a lot of blows over and over, smashing her body faster and harder the whole time. Caulifla’s own fists were doing immense damage to Videl, and Videl’s own body was slowly breaking down. The sound alone was horrible, like jerky being broken apart by a mallet. No sound was heard except flesh being broken and smashed. The sound went on for a while before Gohan let out a powerful scream that broke the sound of flesh being destroyed.
Gohan was screaming at the top of his lungs. His fear was evident in his voice, and his terrified roar was backed with worry. Gohan wasn’t worried about being erased, he didn’t care if he died. But losing his family, the woman he loves, his parents, his brother, friends… and his daughter. So Gohan screamed the one thing that he knew would finally awaken Videl and give her the energy to fight back.
“VIDEL, YOU HAVE TO FIGHT FOR PAN!”
Videl’s body twitched. Not from when her body was hit, which her body was already limp and unable to fight back. Videl’s body twitched when she heard the most important word in her life. Pan. Her daughter was in danger if Videl didn’t win this fight. Videl felt her body tremble, and it wasn’t fear that was overwhelming her or the pain that was attempting to kill her. No, it was a determination that was filling her. Pan was the reason Videl did everything that she had for the past few years. Videl thought that being a mom was something that was holding her back. That wasn’t true at all. Pan wasn’t the one holding Videl back. Videl was doing that all by herself, and perfectly at that.
The feeling that she just wasn’t worthy enough to fight with everyone else. Well, that thought was gone and out of her head. Because when it came to protecting her baby from this woman, Videl was more than ready to do exactly that! Videl finally opened her eyes, and for the first time since the punching began, Caulifla stopped. Not out of respect for Videl and to hold back on her horrible abuse. This time, it was fear. Overwhelming dread and fear were creeping upon Caulifla’s body, and it forced her to awaken. Caulifla opened her eyes… and looked into the eyes of Videl. The eyes of a woman, who has had enough. Caulifla let go of Videl, and for the first time since the tournament had began, Caulfila was filled not with determination or rage.
Caulifla was filled with fear. The Saiyan warrior was right to feel that fear, as Videl let out a roar that shook the very core of every single person there. Gods and mortals alike. Everyone felt what Videl was screaming, but none felt what was beginning in her body. It was not a transformation, it was a realization. An idea of how powerful Videl really was. Videl let her body loose, just as loose as it could be. Videl wanted to copy what she had seen her whole life with Gohan, and now this woman. Saiyans could become super? Fine. Let them witness Videl do the exact same!
Videl let out a roar as her eyes turned white, and her body shook with absolute unending fury. Even more than before, everyone and everything shook. This time, it was not just the arena they were fighting on, now it was the whole dimension itself that was shaking. Even the supreme gods were sweating a bit, in fear, of what they were witnessing happening. What was going on with Videl was a release of power, as if her form was bottling it up, and for the past few minutes, it had begun to spring free. Now, it was at total burst, and what was about to come out was a force that was no longer human. It would also not take the form of a god.
It would take the form of something even beyond the supreme gods. It was the form of what would be considered the most powerful mortal to ever be. A form that was not only superhuman but was now, beyond superhuman. It was the ultimate form of all human beings. Videl’s eyes were white, and her body was swirling around her in a purple hue. Videl stood there, and she flexed her arms as she looked around herself. Videl had to admire what was going on, but Videl had to focus on the important thing. That was, putting Caulifla down for her actions.
Caulifla backed away and knew she was going to have to defend herself from the brutal blows of Videl. Caulifla raised her arms up to act as a shield before Videl could attack her. Caulifla expected several punches that would try to break down her arms. Videl didn’t throw a punch at her, only popping right behind her, and pinched the back of Caulifla’s neck. Caulifla’s body stopped, feeling like she was paralyzed as Videl held on to her neck. Videl pulled back one of her legs and kneed the small of Caulifla’s back.
Caulifla let out a horrified scream, but it was raspy. Caulifla had no power to even let out a scream, even though she had wanted to do so. Caulifla was in too much pain and agony, not even certain how this could be happening to her. Videl just disappeared in front of her, as if she was too fast for her eyes to even process. Videl wrapped an arm around the neck of Caulifla, and while still pinching her neck and her knee against her back, pushed with all her might. Pulling her arm back and pushing with her knee as she did. Caulifla couldn’t even scream, even though the pain was more than agonizing.
Caulifla knew that she had to do something to save herself before she was taken down, and let out the most powerful burst of energy that she had. The energy burst was more than enough to cause an intense burst that shook everything around them, and it could burn the skin of anyone who was even close to the Ki burst, no less holding the person causing it. Videl had no problem holding on to Caulifla and decided to show her a real burst of energy. With a deep breath, Videl exhaled and let out a force even greater than the one Caulifla was using, without even using the same amount of energy to do so that Caulifla was using.
Caulifla couldn’t believe that this was happening against her. Videl’s power was just too grand to comprehend, with Caulfila not even certain how she could win against this. Caulifla had to go even further beyond what she had done, but how can she go beyond this form? This was a perfect combination of super saiyan and great ape. Then Caulifla realized what she was doing wrong. Gohan clearly showed that there was power even beyond Super Saiyan. Super Saiyan Two. Caulifla decided to focus on that, instead of focusing on an attack.
Caulifla let the pain overwhelm her, deciding to have all of the agony against her give her fuel. A burning source that caused her to feel ready to unleash everything. This was something that was dangerous, almost wiping her out herself. If Caulifla was going to win this fight, that meant she was going to have to go all out. Who cared if she survived if she couldn’t take down this threat. Caulifla had all of her energy concentrated on her, and Videl knew something was about to happen. Videl was no fool and holding her as hard as she did, Videl spun around as quickly as she could and threw her as hard as she could. It wasn’t the bravest kind of move, but Videl dared not even entertain the option of a fight.
Videl was right to fear what this could be. Caulfila though, was too fast. The burst of energy swirled around Caulifa, but it wasn’t an explosion of energy like all of the rest. Ths time, it was Caulifla letting all of her energy in her, and the build-up inside of her energy core was too much for her. Caulifla was now becoming an incredible being, and her body stopped. The energy was protecting her, acting like it was a swirling orb of energy around her. Caulifla was not floating in the air, it was more as if the orb of Ki was holding her up in the air. Caulifla looked over right at Videl and now felt stronger and better than ever. Before, she had achieved perfection. Now, she had achieved a step ABOVE perfection.
Caulifla stepped out of the orb, cracked her neck, and shrugged her shoulders. Visually, Caulifla had not changed much, only now energy was crackling around her and her hair was slightly more golden. Caulilfa rolled her body a bit as she stepped out completely from the orb and got back on the floor. Caulifla walked right towards Videl, and Videl flexed her fist and walked right toward Caulifla. The two women were walking closer and closer, and both women knew what was going to happen. Caulifla pulled her arm back, and Videl did the same. Stepping forward, they threw each of their fists at each other.
Both women were struck in the jaw, and their heads shot right back. The energy burst from the punches caused a reaction to the sight of everyone there. It felt like everything had just stopped and they were briefly blinded by the show. Than, the sound came. A massive KRAKABOOM. The sound was so great that even in the void of space, the void shook from the amazing blows against each other. It was as if sound was gone, because of the massive explosion of force between the two women. The two blows that the women threw were with such force that they actually caused space itself to ripple around them. Bending and weaving around the two of them.
For most beings, this would have been a death sentence and instantly killed them. To the two women, such a deadly and lethal force was just a method for them to distract the other from each other. Both women clapped right at the ripple, and forced the ripple to move and shatter as it did. The ripple was broken apart like glass dashed on the floor, and now everything burst around them. Shards of reality were all around them, and obstructing their view. It looked to be that when one looked at the broken reality, all one saw was a warped fractured view of what was really behind it. Surrounding the two women, it was impossible to not look through it.
When Caulifla looked through her crack, all she saw was Videl upside down and heading away from her. Caulifla was a bit confused, given she didn’t know what these reality fragments were. Videl was more than happy to tell Caulifla what it was, as she kicked Caulifla in the face. Caulifla hit the floor and in the eyes of Videl, all she saw was Caulifla rising up and ready to punch her. Videl knew this was fake, all the reality was showing her was a lie. Caulifla instead was still on the ground, and was kicked right in the chest by Videl. Caulifla knew that whatever was going on, two things were more than clear.
Everything that she was watching was a lie, and Videl was faster on the draw than Caulifla was able to figure out. Thus, Caulila decided to close her eyes to fight back against Videl. Videl had the advantage of her Ultra Instinct accurately telling her where Caulifla was and what her moves really were, so while Videl saw lies, her body told her the truth. Caulifla did not have ultra instinct, but as a saiyan, she had superior senses when it came to the situations of battle. Smell and hearing told her how fast Videl was coming for her, and where she would be positioned by one of her moves.
The two women threw a kick in the air, and both their legs clashed against the hardest thing in all of the universes. Each other's legs. The two women clashed hard against each other, growling at each other and applying more pressure behind their own muscular legs. The kick method was obvious. Make sure the other was the one who would be forced back. The intent wasn’t to take the other out though, or even cause a great amount of pain. The intent was to test just how powerful the other was. See if they were equal or not when it came to force. The legs locked towards each other and the two women pushed against each other even further, gritting their teeth and flexing their calf muscles.
It wasn’t hard to understand that what was going on was an amazing burst of force between them. Waves and waves bounced around, and everyone felt how heavy it was. It didn’t matter how weak they were, or if they had the might of the angels themselves… everyone felt it. Whis himself could notice that all of the fighters were on their knees, exhausted just feeling it. Whis could tell Beerus was trying hard not to fall as well, and Whis could not blame Beerus. Even he felt his knees shaking from the force. If the blows against each other were so great that they were making an angel tremble, what would happen if he was struck with such a kick? Vados herself was wondering if an angel could even survive a kick from these two women.
None of the women noticed that everyone was suffering from the attack they threw at each other. The two women were too dedicated to the other, both gritting their teeth and pushing harder. Their legs refused to bend against each other, as their feet crushed what was underneath them. The two women pushed towards each other, and they wanted to say something to each other. Neither woman could actually think of anything to say, as sweat poured down their heads. They were putting all the force behind their legs, and as their leg muscles flexed hard, the waves hit back harder. Now every single mortal was on their face and knees, the supreme kais couldn’t even breath, the gods of destructions were now on their knees… and the angels were wincing in pain.
As painful and heavy as these waves of pressure were, the real loser among them was the arena the two women were fighting on. Designed to be the hardest substance in all of the universes, they were built in defense in case a fighter attempted to blow it up with a solar system-destroying level Ki attack. They didn’t even have a chance at surviving the waves of force that were being generated by the two women. Their legs pressed against each other, the women gritted their teeth and finally, began to roar right at each other. Their faces mixed with anger and righteous fury as their throat muscles did all of the real work.
It was with their screaming, that space around them began to warp. The sheer energy being disrupted by just their screams matched the same as their legs, and despite the dimension around them being unique, it was damaged before. Now, it was in such a state that survival was in question. The dimension around them shook, then warped. The women changed their places, and suddenly, they were now at a 33-degree angle. It didn’t matter, they were still trying to match each other. They did happen to notice though during their screaming, that the oxygen was now gone. Replaced with chlorine trifluoride. Not only was it now unbreathable, but any wrong action it would cause the very area around them to burst into flames. Both women twitched a muscle, and with that, an inferno burst everywhere with the force being like that of a hundred thousand metal drums being beaten instantly. The sound was more than deafening, it was roaring, and neither woman could hear anything but crackling and breaking.
The stadium was in flames, and the angels put up force fields to protect the spectators from the flames. Anyone outside of the shields would have been instantly fried from the intense heat and flames being produced from the kinetic force of the heat itself. The two women didn’t mind it, actually using the flames against each other as they fought harder and harder. Twisting their bodies around, the flames surrounded them as if the embers were now elegant ballroom dresses. Elegant at a look, but deadly to the touch. There was no way anyone could survive the heat alone if they were anyone else. Not just from the intense blaze that surrounded them and the heat generated from it, but it was impossible to breathe from what was going on. Videl and Caulifla had no problems though, given they were able to sheath their Ki’s around themselves and keep in proper oxygen intake. While that was going on, the two women knew they had a limited amount of time with the oxygen aura they had around them. A few minutes before they used up all the oxygen they had.
It didn’t matter, this fight was about to come to the last stretch itself. Both women leaped right back as far as they could, and as they did so, they nearly ruptured the ring. The two women glared at each other and gritted their teeth, they charged right at each other as quickly as they could. The instant burst of speed fractured the ground underneath them, and the ring was starting to crack from the force. Close to splitting in half just from what was going on between the two women. These women were destroying the hardest substance in all of the universes not via direct attacks, but just the forces of both women. When Videl and Caulifla finally clashed, shoulder against shoulder and head against head, the force blowback caused the fracturing arena to speed up and come even closer to outright exploding from the instability. With the flames growing, the shaking of the arena, and the space around them warping, it wasn’t hard for everyone to see this as the effects of Armageddon. Both women pushed right against each other, their heads pushing against each other and their arms flexing as they did. It was a forceful push contest, both women applying so much force that planets would be thrown out of orbit if they were close to the gravitational force the women generated.
Videl could see her head was bleeding, while Caulifla felt her arm tremble. They were both in pain. But neither dared to move back. The golden black Saiyan was a warrior woman who would never be defeated, and the purple-hued human beauty was certain victory was in her grasp. The two women were forcing out so much power that they themselves felt their muscles clench just from the impact. The harder they pushed, the more their legs flexed and the blood in their veins fired off. It was an onslaught of women stronger than the gods themselves trying desperately to battle the other for the chance for victory. Women who were about to unleash the final force and reach the apex of both their powers. Videl was the first to push forward, her knees almost imploding from the force alone but her legs went full on, pushing towards as she could and her calf muscles helping her. Videl forced Caulifla back, and Caulifla felt her legs buckling alongside her arm. Caulifla didn’t worry though, knowing she had her free arm that would be used as an axe. Raising her free arm, she forged Ki around it to appear as a blade, and jabbed right on the head of Videl as hard as she could. It was an attempt to cut into her head completely, and kill her where she was.
The attack did not at all kill Videl, but it did cut her head and cause blood to cover the face of Videl. Most would have stopped from the pain now hitting their entire brain from the devastating attack. Videl did not even pause as she pushed harder, steam almost coming off her skin. Videl's muscles were overpowering Caulifla’s own, and this time Caulifla was worried. Caulifla raised her hands in the air again to slice again, only to notice what had happened. Her fingers had broken from the impact against Videl's own skull. The great force of hitting Videl’s skull was more than enough to break even the fingers of Caulifla, and her whole hand was shaking from striking such a hardy force. Most people such as in Caulifla’s situation would have also given up, realizing how small they were next to Videl. Caulifla would never give up, no matter what. Caulifla knew she had an advantage over Videl. Caulifla was a saiyan, and thus was biologically different from Videl thanks to two great assets to her. First, was her own tail that wrapped around the ankle of Videl, and pulled in hard. The other advantage of Caulifla, was regardless of how powerful Videl was in muscles and bone, Caulifla had superior jaw strength.
With animalistic fury, Videl bit right into the neck of Videl as hard as she could. As painfully as she could with the jaw strength that would puncture even her own skin. Videl wanted to scream in agony as Caulifla bit down as hard as she could with all her force. Caulifla was certain that Videl would stop pushing her back as she could, and Caulifla would now be able to fight back. Despite the agony from her head and neck, Videl still pushed as hard as she could. Now Caulifla was afraid, and had one last goal despite her tail slowing down but not stopping Videl. With her broken hand, Caulifla pulled her arm back and smashed her right in the hip as hard as she could. Not even use her hand as she could, just slamming her arm against Videl as if the arm were a club. The more that Caulifla struck Videl, the more her arm was damaged. But as much pain as her arm and hand were going through, Videl was facing even more pain. Videl’s arms and legs were buckling, her body quivering the whole while. Videl wanted to stop, to just let Caulifla win and the fight would be over. The pain and agony would be over. The flames were beating down hard, the trembling was getting worse, and Videl was barely able to think about anything but how painful it all was. The thought of pain, while immense, was overwhelmed by one thought. Pan’s life and safety.
If Videl lost, Pan would be lost forever. Videl’s motherhood gave her the power and urge to push even harder. Videl finally went on the attack, knowing if she didn’t Caulifla would finally unleash an attack that would take her down. Videl kidney punched Caulifla as hard as she could, and Caulifla was forced to let go of Videl via her teeth. Videl was nowhere near done, actually pulling in her leg that was held by the tail. Caulifla was forced in and Videl attempted to bash her in the face with her fist, but Caulifla was not yet done, actually forcing her head as hard as she did. The impact of the two forces against each other caused Videl’s hand to break and Caulifla felt as if her head was hit with a billion supernovas. Caulifla tumbled back and while this was bad for her, it was even worse for Videl. Videl was forced to follow alongside Caulifla and as confused as the Saiyan warrior was, she did have enough of an idea to kick Videl in the chest as hard as she could. Falling to the ground and kicking her hard, Videl was sent flying into a blazing inferno. Caulifla knew that she had finally won, that she was the victor of this great combat. Only for her to realize one major mistake she had made.
Caulifla’s tail was still holding onto Videl’s ankle. Caulifla was forced alongside Videl, and had to grab the arena to hold on tight. Her nails dug into the arena and sliced what she held under her like ribbons. Caulifla also had her tail loosen, letting Videl go right from her grasp. While Caulifla was able to stop herself, it was her hope that she was finally rid of Videl while still being safe. Perhaps her method would have defeated Videl if she had let go instead of held on, or if she had hoped that Videl would fall first meant Caulifla won on default. Because Caulifla had done neither, Videl was still in the ring and was tired of letting Caulifla dictate how this fight would go. Videl had one arm push on the very edge of the ring and with all her strength, pushed herself up as far as she could. The first thing to happen was that a massive chunk of the ring exploded under her, turning to rubble and falling beneath her. The next, was that Videl shot in the air just from her push against the hard surface. Now far up in the air, Videl could see everything that was below her. A burning inferno, a once large and proud arena now tearing itself apart, and the cause of all her problem. Caulifla, still in the fight and more than raring to go.
If Videl was to defeat her, it would have to be a Hail Mary move. Probably Videl’s single biggest Hail Mary of all. Videl combed through her mind, and remembered what her husband was very good at. A certain move that he learned from his father, and while Videl had never used it, she’d seen enough of it to know how to use it. Videl pulled both her arms back, and concentrated. The only person who could actively see Videl, even through the very flames, was Gohan. At first, Gohan couldn’t believe what he had seen in the whole fight. The force needed to display that much power during the whole fight was too insane for Gohan to even fathom that anyone could do. The idea that the person who could do all of that was his own wife was also perplexing to Gohan. Yet somehow, it just felt right to watch his wife be that amazing and much much more. Like she had held back her whole life for no reason and was now unleashing it for herself to find out how amazing she was. Though Gohan knew she had to do even more to defeat Caulifla, and as he watched his wife far above the stadium, he knew what she was going to do. The one move that would win her this whole fight.
The legendary signature move of the son family. The Kamehamaha. Videl may have never done it before, but there was a lot she had never done today that she quickly mastered. Pulling both her arms back and clenching her body, the same way she had seen Gohan, she took a deep breath and knew she was able to unleash the wave. The reason being that she had learned from the very best at how to do so. With Ki swelling inside of her, the energy massively built up inside of her. From the bottom of her toes to the top of her head. The energy was building up and amplifying its power. It was almost blinding and flashed as she did. From the palms of her hand together, came an orb of energy that was intended to be like the one her husband used. But the energy of the Ki orb trumped even the most powerful of spirit bombs Goku could ever conceive of. It was the largest source of energy ever brought into a dimension that the master of all the gods and his supreme angels existed in. Not only that, but it was getting bigger every second. Even with all the flames in the way of the vision, Caulifla could see it as she laid her back on the ground. The warping color around Videl was flashing brighter than a supernova.
This was dangerous, and could be the blast that ends the whole battle. Caulifla knew then and there, this was the last move. Everything was building up to this. The test of combat and strength from before was just to warm the two up for what would be the largest Ki battle to ever be conceived of. Caulifla immediately stood up as if her body wasn’t wracked with pain and agony, and with her rise came an increase in Ki. Caulifla pulled both arms down and holding them together like a fist, surged with Ki. The Ki waves cracked the ground under her, and the waves only increased with power every second, doubling in power in a few seconds. Caulifla felt her body being wracked with how much energy she was putting out, and didn’t at all mind. If Caulifla was going to fire this big bang blast, then by Kami it was going to be the biggest big bang to ever happen. Even bigger than the one that started the universe. The light around Caulifla also changed color and would flash, the intensity from the beams being greater and more dangerous than the very flames around the two women. The two women looked at each other, and growled at each other as they felt their own blood curdle and their bones shake. The muscles of each woman screaming in agony.
Release the energy now, or perish. But no, they still increased their energy. The two women were fighting for something more important than each other's lives. They were fighting for what they believed to be the most important facets of who they were as people. Videl was fighting for family and those she cherished, from Pan to Gohan to her dad and the rest of those she knew. Caulifla was fighting for glory and pride, the only pride that would ever matter to a proper warrior. Caulifla wasn’t fighting for anything as ‘unimportant’ as love, because what was love from a weakling? No, as the energy surged in her and burst apart everything around her and below her, Caulifla’s pride was more than empowering her. Caulifla was able to warp just about everything close, and with these changes, was the sense of what was about to happen. Both women knew and could feel thy they were about to hit the wall. The wall of what they would be able to do and survive. Their minds and bodies told them to stop, begging them to hold back and not wipe out their very existence. Hearing this thought from mind and body, the two women knew that any more power and they would die.
They applied even more power. It didn’t matter if they lived as long as they won, and they must win! The energy between both of them easily surpassed the same energy used to create the universe, the big bang being a candle in comparison to the blazing inferno of a forest fire that was the energy between the two. Videl felt her blood boil and her body shake, and Caulifla was in the most pain of her life and her bones were about to break. Now was the time to throw out all their Ki. Every single iota of it, not even a single scrap of power left. With all the power ready to fire, both women let out a silent prayer. Videl to her family, and Caulifla to herself. I must win for Pan and Gohan. I must win for my saiyans pride. These two thoughts were all they had in their minds, and with it, they knew they could finally let loose. Caulifla was the first to scream, both in agony and as someone ready to win the most important battle of her life. Her roar caused the dimension to nearly explode from force, and anyone weaker than Videl would have died from the roar effect. Videl let out her own powerful vicious roar and as their roars clashed, the two women threw out all their energy that they could.
With their Ki leaving them, it almost caused them both to die instantly. All the Ki bursting out of them like a dam that had exploded and now the whole ocean was shooting out from a 5 inch hole. Both beams are of different color, one of pure purple and one of pure gold. Each beam at least 20 miles wide, and was shot out faster than light itself could process. When the purple beam from Videl struck the golden beam from Caulifla, it almost seemed to cause everything… to reset. Both women witnessed the birth of the universe, to the last nanosecond before they threw the beams at each other, in a matter of the flash of an eye. Perhaps what they had saw was just an illusion. The other idea was that all of existence up till now was just a demonstration before the two women threw out all the energy they had with each other. That was such an insane concept, too impossible to even fathom that it was possible. No one would believe the idea could happen, unless they themselves had witnessed the effects of the blasts against each other. The beams clashed against each other, pushing right towards each other and trying to get past the other. The clash of beams was an intense phase of light, blinding even Videl and Caulifla who were forced to close their eyes. The angels themselves felt were only not blinded because they did not see light in a traditional way. That was not a positive thing for them, they would detect things via Ki.
For them, the Ki was just too much to even guess what was going on. It was like trying to take a shower and being bathed by all of the water in the world. Especially if that water was scalding. The angels couldn’t even gather what was going on, their shields barely protecting them from the intensity of the blasts. As forceful as the Ki was, the full force of what was behind them were now two weak frail women. Both women whose minds were struggling to see what they have thrown, and yet they were certain they were the ones to win. Videl could not see what was going on, but as her body was falling down, Videl was wondering a question. What had happened to all the flames around them, shouldn’t they be both fried? If Videl could see, Videl would have known all of the flames in the arena was canceled out by the energy blast. Everything around them was gone, the arena itself exploding. Neither woman was falling at such speeds to say who would win, because once one of the beams had been defeated, they would instantly incinerate the defeated foe. The winner would depend on the most classic and important reason for who have won this fight. Who was the stronger between the two women. The human mother fighting for those she loves, or the saiyan warrior who had more pride in her than all of her race in both universes combined.
Neither woman would ever dare submit, so they had thrown everything they had at the other. The two blasts were heavenly in power, and would rupture all of existence if they were outside the dimension they rested in. Pushing at each other, it was two unstoppable forces that were causing more damage to existence than to each other. Impossible fo lose, they pushed along away anyway, ready to take out everything to be the first to move farther then where they clashed. It would even seem that the Ki blasts were not producing any sound, but the reality was they were generating a noise. The hum across all of existence was the noise. A hum that would become a thunder crash that would destroy everything the second one of those blasts won against the other. The angels knew of this, and hoped Zeno, king of all the gods would stop it.
He, above all others, was expected to stop such a terrible disaster that would befall all of existence if these two womens attacks were still allowed to go on. It was to the angels horror though, that the king duo… were scared. Neither expected to see a level of power beyond THEM! It was too true for them that they had realized that the fate of all of existence was out of everyones hands. Not even the two women who had caused this exact event to occur had any hopes of stopping the two Ki blasts that were threatening the fabric of not just existence, but even beyond that and into imagination. Nothing could stop them. NOTHING!
Which was why, if one thought about this critically, which no one could do out of absolute fear and terror of what exactly was going on could do, they would have known the result. What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Simple. They surrender. Just like that, the two blasts were no longer challenging each other in a contest of great and amazing might, but were stopped. What more could they do against each other? The two impossibly powerful Ki blasts caused each other to cancel, no longer able to fight against each other. What was once like a powerful storm that threatened to blow apart entire cities as it went, it ended as soon as it came and the forces dissipated with each other. What was once a force powerful enough to threaten and terrify even the gods of all of existence, was now particles too weak to even make a lightbulb flicker.
No one there believed this was actually possible, except one. The grand priest, who was never worried about his fate at all. Why should he have been, when he was the one who knew that the two fighters who were now falling were perfectly equal when it came to great power. Not that the grand priest himself was not worried a bit by what he had witnessed. The two women were vastly superior to him in almost every way, that the grand priest knew. But he was a bit older than most, and so knew what happened when two great forces clashed with each other tended to go. The defeat of each other in an equally spectacular event. Even if they were vastly stronger than him, the result would still be the same.
Still, the sheer concept of any beings being this mighty was too much for even the grand priest to even consider. He nodded his head and even somewhat saluted the two women who fell. They were not only the greatest mortals to ever be witnessed in these events, they were the single greatest fighters to ever be fathomed. Videl and Caulifla were, with no comparison towards each of them, the most powerful and mighty beings to ever come into existence or otherwise. Thus, the obvious winner of the two, was the one force that could defeat even them. A fellow lady who was considered a harsh mistress. Time.
The time limit for the tournament went out, and as neither woman was defeated, it was decided to be a draw. As much as Zeno and his twin were outplayed in power by what Videl and Caulifla had done, they were still incredibly powerful and could form a new arena for everyone to rest on. That way, the two gods could decide what to do in the case of a draw. While the two kings debated what to exactly do, Videl and Caulifla were exhausted, laying down as they could and were trying as hard as either of them could to not vomit from what had happened to them. Still, both knew of what they had to do. They had to defeat the other. Neither knew the match was officially over, and instead knew that the winner would save their own universe.
Thus, while the kings debated on how to do this wish, the two women stood on broken legs and marched towards each other, despite their muscles and bones screaming to please stop. Neither woman had any energy left in them. It didn’t matter, they had to FIGHT each other, or else. With a body that felt like it was on fire, every nerve screaming to stop, the two women shuffled as quickly as they could, more dragging themselves than walk towards the other. With arms that felt like noodles glued to them rather than be appendeges, the two women threw punches right at the other, intending to take each other down with an equally weak blow that would topple the other. The two, as much fury as they threw, were so weak that even a gust of wind would have stopped them.
Thus, it was easy for Gohan to stop the two women from punching each other when he got in the middle and held their fists. Gohan had to admit though, as weak as the two women were left from the fight, he could still feel the ‘weight’ of their punches. Even as weak as they were, their spirit could burn as brightly as possible. Gohan found himself actually proud of his wife for it, while a bit worried about Caulifla if she regained her strength quicker than his wife. Stopping the two of them was something only the bravest of people would have done, even though they were certain the two had lost all their power. Even Goku and Vegeta, both rather battle hungry, were not certain how Gohan could muster up the courage to get in the way between the two of them. As Gohan held them both, he got a good look at both of them.
The duo looked exhausted, sweating as they were ready to just drop dead from everything that was going on. That was what was going on on the surface. But inside, Gohan could see the two women still had a great fire in them. Neither were ready to stop even though both wanted it. Not even the fact Gohan was there would stop them. Gohan just had to lift them both in the air by their wrists to demonstrate to them that no matter what was going on, neither had the power to stop him. Well, the power they now had. As both of the women were breathing hard, finally, the king of the gods knew what to say or do.
Neithe Zeno’s wished to really anger the women after what they had witnessed. Even with how weak the women had become, the fear was still evident on the two kings. Neither had predicted that any mortal could ever approach this level of power, or even close to an approximation of it. This was a force too much for them to even grasp or understand. Because of this, they were paranoid about the two women faking the weakness they had now, or that they had become so powerful because they were fighting each other. They had assumed that the two women were always this powerful and only hid it to scare the twin gods here and now. If that was their plan, in the gods heads, than it had worked.
It worked so well they would give just about anything to these women. Thus, the gods asked the two women what their wish was. Both the women were barely able to hear the kings of the gods, only consdering what would happen if the fight kept on going. If they still went at it, than all of everything would be destroyed in an instant. As much as Caulifla wanted to prove her power, destroying everything in existence was NOT her wish or desire. Proving herself the strongest was how, and getting rid of everything to do so was the move of a child or a monster, not a saiyan warrior. Videl’s own reasons were closer and more dear to her. One of the biggest was staring right in front of her.
Gohan, her family. The idea of losing her family was too horrible to even fathom. Everything Videl did from here was to make sure that tomorrow, she could see them. In a way, Videl felt her family held her back. Now though, in a different light, she could really see what had held her back. Her belief that they did, to justify any self doubt in her. Ending this fighting was the only thing that mattered to either to them. Because NEITHER would surrender to the other. Thus, in perfect unison, the two women looked at Zeno and in the same tone of voice and time, said the exact sentence.
“We just want to prevent this kind of fight ever again.”
To many, what they said was rather simple to understand. The two women just didn’t want to battle each other once again. To the kings, they overthought the demand to insane degrees. To them, the wish they had given was the wish of wise women. Pure genius, to just bring peace to everyone and to prevent great future conflict. The two kings were in near tears at how wonderful this piece of wisdom was, and in a small way, were just happy to find beings so powerful were also so merciful. The Grand Priest rolled his eyes and snickered a bit, knowing the true meaning of the phrase but didn’t find any reason to confirm to the kings how wrong they were.
Thus, the kings gladly complied with the wish they had heard and snapped their fingers to instantly grant it. What did not happen was universal peace. What did happen, was a vibe of harmony that was in the minds of… well all. It did not change them or make them no longer hostile, but many just didn’t feel like fighting or harming others because of the harmony. Caulifla and Videl themselves heard the harmony, and both were in smiles as they heard it, and Gohan was at least glad to hear it and see his wife was now smiling. Gohan gently let Caulifla down, not wanting to cause her to retaliate if he dropped her, while he cradled his wife and walked away with her.
Videl slept in his arms, and Gohan had to think over everything that had happened. A few days ago, he was worried she was far too weak to even attempt to join this tournament. The idea of her being killed on acident by a fighters blow because her power level was so low was a nightmare he had for a long while. Yet as great as the fear was, he felt like it was a foolish idea and not the harsh reality. He didn’t understand it till he saw her fight, and her victory over so many other fighters was proof that his nightmareS were just bad dreams. How could he ever doubt the power of his wife again after everything she had done? From defeating the strongest in the multiverse as if they were nothing, to becoming as powerful as… well the concept of power itself.
Nothing could top what she and Caulifla did. Except one thing. Survive, and become better. Many would believe that what Videl did was a one time thing. As he held his sleeping wife, Gohan was beyond certain of one thing. His wife was only going to become even better than ever before later on. His wife was no quitter, she was a fighter! It wouldn’t be that hard for Videl to get better from even this state.
-One month later-
Videl was in the kitchen, making up dinner for the whole family. It was different this time though. A good part of her always dreaded coming back to this kitchen, feeling like in a way, she had failed herself and was just settling in this life. As if Videl had peaked as a teenager and nothing could ever hope to match up to that old life of hers. Now though, as she was cutting into the carrot and putting bits of the carrot in the salad bowl, she was brimming with a smile. Not because she LIKED making up dinner, though she had to admit she seemed to have gotten a lot better at this as well, it was now she knew what her limits really were. Which were, to be honest, no limits at all.
Living a life knowing you had no limits was the most freeing thing for someone to live in general. Videl now knew that for her, traveling across the universe from edge to edge was just as easy as it was walking from the kitchen to the dining room. Which Videl herself could perfectly do and had tested a few times. Videl was glad to know that her power had returned, and would have no problem doing what she needed the power to be for her. Videl headed right towards said dining room after finishing her cooking, and there she saw some people she considered family, and those she had invited. A few who she had invited were fellow fighters from the big tournament, all enjoying their feast. One guest though, had everyone worried.
Caulifla. When Gohan heard from Videl that she wanted to see her, Gohan wasn’t certain his wife was right in the mind. Though not like Gohan would ever bother arguing with her and so followed with what she wanted. Gohan was also certain that Videl had a good reason to want to see Caulifla. Course the obvious question of how they would see her was given, with Videl having no problem getting towards her. Videl just went out to an open field, and with just her hands, dug right into space itself. Using her Ki, she could tear open a portal as best as she could, making sure it was open wide and full.
Entering right through the portal, Videl just went in and after a while of Gohan not certain if following after her was safe for him, Videl had come out. Following after her was Caulifla, who was a bit puzzled by what had happened. Videl just chuckled and told Gohan to get everyone he can for the dinner, and now everyone was eating up. Caulifla herself was devouring even more food than Goku and Vegeta were combined, tearing apart whatever was in her way to consume just about everything in her.
Everyone there was a bit confused and a bit worried about Caulifla, worrying she may be preparing to attack Videl once again. All of them wanted to help Videl if she was attacked by Caulifla but none of them, even the fellow Saiyans, had the power to really stop Cauifla if she tried. Not that Videl herself seem worried that she may be attacked. In fact, Videl was just happily feeding Pan as she did, and while Caulifla finally finished her meal, Caulifla didn’t look ready to attack Videl herself. Videl and Caulifla both seemed to be rather calm about the whole event, despite how they ended things.
Gohan knew his wife was a peaceful kind of woman, but even he was surprised by the actions of Caulifla. Maybe the woman wasn’t as blood thirsty as she seemed, or perhaps it was respect to Videl. The idea that the woman could be a major threat to her and defeat her. Though if one could go into the mind of Caulifla, they would know the real reason she wasn’t going to fight Videl right here and now. Caulifla had too much to fear from Videl, though it was not from the fact that Videl was stronger than her and could defeat her in a fight. What Caulifla had to fear from Videl, was that Videl was so powerful and amazing.
Yet Videl had a life. Videl had more than just training daily in her combat arts or physical strength or Ki manipulation to become so powerful. No, Videl had a husband she worked with and a baby who she was raising and made her life for. This should have been a sign that a woman like her was weak unlike Caulifla. The fact that Videl was no weaker than Caulifla and was potentially more than equal to Caulfila, given she was so powerful despite nothing make her work out 24/7 like Caulfila likes to do, it could only mean she was that powerful and even more in suspected thought. Videl though, had a different thought when it came to Caulifla.
Videl had nothing but respect for a woman like her. Caulifla could match her just by herself, while Videl had so much power because of the family she had. Videl had Pan and Gohan giving her such willpower and determination. Caulifla had all that power inside of her and would freely use it to protect herself and battle and win against any foe. Viel had to think that if she didn’t have her family with her, she was uncertain she could ever have hoped to even survive against Caulifla, no less draw with her. It was why Videl wanted to meet with Caulifla. It was also Caulifla’s reason for coming along with Videl. Both women thought of two things, and were thinking the same exact thing.
This woman is more powerful than me. I want to know why. For Videl, Caulifla was a source of independence and empowerment. For Caulifla, Videl was a matron who didn’t have to dedicate herself to training to be strong but was JUST strong. Neither woman had to say it to each other, they just knew that the other respected the other. The way they observed how the other was made it more than clear that they had absolute respect for what the other person was. Even if neither woman was clear what this respect was for. The two women just knew that violence wasn’t in either of their futures.
Though Caulifla had to admit, a big part of her was still wondering something else. It was after dinner as Videl was cleaning up, and Caulifla followed her to the kitchen. Caulifla had to say Videl was already being stronger than her because Videl was doing the one thing that she greatly feared. Cleaning dishes. Caulifla watched Videl cleaning right up and after a while of doing dishes and scrubbing them exactly clean, Caulifla had to speak up.
“Isn’t it kind of weird that one of the two most powerful beings in all of the universe is the one cleaning dishes while everyone else isn’t?”
Videl chuckled a bit as she scrubbed up all the remains of another one of Caulila’s plate. Videl wasn’t exactly certain of what to say, so all Videl did was just say the first thing that came to her mind.
“Honestly, it’s not that bad. It’s a job that has to be done and I am the one who really caused all of the mess by putting the food on the plates. Besides, on earth, mortals fear the mighty chef. Especially when she’s in her domain, the kitchen. I think you’ll enjoy learning how to cook, it helps center you.”
Caulilfa wasn’t certain if Videl was being serious or not, though the saiyan woman was interested heavily in what Videl was saying. It wasn’t like anything she was hearing could have been any crazier than the idea that this woman was just naturally so powerful. The two women were up close to each other as Videl finished cleaning up, and Caulfila thumbed around, well everywhere as she than put her hands on her hips.
“Don’t you feel worried that if you just did the wrong thing, you could destroy everything? I don’t mean the kitchen, I mean everything. We are so impossibly strong tha we warp just about everything ever. Without even trying, you just popped into another universe. I followed after you, and I felt this tug when we did. I think if I was anyone else I’d look like… well what you’re scraping off on that plate. Personally I’m loving the fact I’m this awesome, but how about you? You think you can handle all of this power, and for all we know… we’re ONLY going to get stronger. Who knows what’s beyond Super Saiyan 4.”
“... 5, 6, 7…”
The two women chuckled a bit at Videl’s joke and Videl just shrugged, still smiling the whole while.
“I get what you’re saying and I don’t disagre the idea of breaking everything is scary. For me though, I feel that I’m able to protect just about everyone. Who knows what could try to kill those who I love. A rogue god of destruction, some crazy king of the gods… a Saiyan warrior my equal?”
Caulifla looked right at Videl, and Videl looked at her. The two smirked, and both headed outside. Both of them knew what they wanted to do, and why not have fun doing it? The two of them deciding to do it made it a lot more fun than one just forcing it. As the two women were outside at the backyard, they both stretched a bit, and Videl was the one to lay down the rule.
“One punch. Just one. Whoever hits the other first wins. But we have to do it with our eyes closed… and we hit as lightly as we can.”
“Ahh come on, you can take my punch.”
“Yeah, but I’m not worried about breaking you. I’m worried about breaking my universe when I knock you down to the ground first.”
The two women squared up, getting as cose as they could as they made sure that foot touched foot. Both women leaned back and touched hands, the backhand against the backhand. As they were in mid crouch, the two women made sure they were as close as they could be without touching each other. The women didn’t mean for their Ki to implode as they did, but it still went out in an intense burst. Nearly frying the very ground under them, and flattening the whole yard around them. As the women pushed their fists together, the surge of Ki was causing the planet around to shake. Not in a physical sense but the fact that every being that could sense Ki FELT the shaking. Not just on earth.
Even beings in other planes of existence felt the earth of Universe 7 shake, and they were afraid. Even fearing this power. The two Zeno’s FELT the shaking, and they were themselves shaking even more as they held each other. This was just like the blast of Ki from before. In fact, it was actually a tinier bit more powerful than that. The two kings had no idea that this was just a small amount of power from the two women. As they were pushing their arms against the other and pressing forward deep, even touching skull to skull, the two women weren’t even certain why they were doing this. Oh sure, it was a friendly way to see who was faster than the other. In a childish way, just to beat the other.
Deep down, they really didn’t feel like they had to prove anything. Whatever for each other or to themselves. The whole idea was really just for one potential reason. The other felt like they needed it. So why not just let loose for a foe you respect? Though admittedly, just because they felt the other needed it, why would they just let the other win? Videl wasn’t certain when this was going to start, but she knew Caulifla would be the first one to throw a punch. Caulifla was waiting for Videl to strike. Neither was ready to throw a punch, and just positioned themselves as they did.
They waited. As long as they waited for the other to do something, their bodies were full of adreneline and pumping full of blood. To their bodies, it felt like years, when really it was a second. The two women were that dedicated to making certain they would be the faster than the other. Nothing was going to stop them. It was then, that the door to the house opened right behind them. Gohan walked out of the door, and saw his wife right up against Caulfila, as the two looked ready to throw a punch right at the other. Gohan didn’t even say a word, a bit too scared for his wife to even think of doing so. Too bad for him that the wind made a noise when it shut the open door.
At the sound, their bodies reacted. Videl and Caulfila moved as quicky as they did, breaking the light speed as they both did. The bodies of the women did all of the movement, and as they broke the barrier of light, they also nearly caused all of the universe around them to implode. The only reason it didn’t was because the two women were also protecting the very universe around them. All that mattered in that very moment was who would throw the first punch that hit the other. They moved their fists against the other and with their free arms, using each others body to bring in torque and force, had both of their fists come right at the others face. The twin fists were about to strike the other in the face.
Neither woman was certain how they would feel if they were hit. Videl still knew that if she was hit, she was certain she would win the fight. Caulifla doubted that Videl would win even if Caulfila hit her fist. The two women weren’t even certain that the other was faster based on just the punches they were throwing at each other. Though their blood raced faster than it ever did when they threw all of their Ki energy right at each other. This felt real. This felt grounded, natural. The two women were too fast for anyone to even see what they were doing, just a blur. Both women saw that they were smiling ear to ear, more excited in this moment than all the moments before in their lives. Punching the other woman was a thrill the winner could never forget.
When she struck her foe in the face, she cheered her name out for all of the universe to listen. Her voice was too loud though for anyone to hear, but everyone knew who was the one who hit first. The winner would never forget telling the story of how she was the one who won, and the loser would grumble she was this close to hitting the other and it was just a fluke she lost. It’s more than obvious if you consider who was the stronger one. The saiyan warrior, or the human warrior. All you need to consider is… who would win. Once you thought it over, it was obvious who hit first. It was also obvious that if this was a real fight, who would win as well. Though you can be made sure that Videl and Caulifla would NEVER forget this punch, and how… it was the weakest punch either woman threw in their lives.
It was also the heaviest punch in either of their lives.
