Hello again, everyone! Another update here.

Level Loading Changes

In order to facilitate the new CTask system (and to provide a little more flexibility), I had to rewrite quite a lot of code surrounding the level system. Consequently, scenarios are no longer hard-coded. Instead, levels are now required to define their own scenarios within their level initialization scripts.

Additionally, level-defined scenarios can also declare multiple starting points for a scenario (for the player to choose from when loading a level), and flags that modify what the starting point does. For example, if the player wants to start the "Dinner Time" scenario already in the Giantess' stomach, the player can also choose whether the Giantess actually knows they're in there, if the game should start with the player already half-digested, etc.

The screenshot shows off a very primitive scenario selection menu; I only just started on the UI aspect of it today - It's very unfinished.

Fighting with the level system is actually the only thing I focused on for the past 10 days. With October coming up very quickly (and December not very far ahead), I really need to make more progress to get the game in a shippable state! The level loading stuff is just one of many things that needed to be implemented / fixed up before we get there.

That being said, if the game still isn't in a shippable state when the end of December rolls around, I will let you all know. I really don't want broken update to represent the game for the next year again (or however long the next update takes). Please bear with me; I'm putting nearly all of my free-time into this thing at this point ^^'

Apologies for the short progress update this time around - As I said, this week was focused entirely on low-level modifications, so there's not much to show off, besides what the screenshot shows.

Anyways, as always, thank you all for your continued support and patience. I'll see you all in the next progress update!

Keep up the good work! So excited for the next update. And I think following updates will probably be easier since you're updating the code

Hey, take the time you need. And try not to burn yourself out. If it's going to be delayed, then let it be delayed. The fact that you are giving progress updates is (at least to me) proof enough that this is being worked on. I have a few other creators whom I previously supported who either completely stopped working on their project, or began delaying a post about progress to the point where the last progress update was more than 8 months old. So, again, don't push yourself. Take it at good pace. Rather a program well programmed, than a rushed project. You know? Other than that, you're doing a great job there!

That sounded like a huge piece. Thank you for keeping us to date and for your hard work boss. Don't forget to let your brain breathe if needed
