I'm wondering how that would work in a VR environment. Does it temporarily alter brain chemistry or does the computer have control of the character with the player watching

I'm currently reworking the dialogue a little bit in the upcoming few strips, and the way I'm hoping to describe it is that the game is making Lisa feel like she is drunk.

We already knew that the VR system can do stuff like make you feel attracted to people you wouldn't be attracted to IRL.

So much of what this VR system is described as being able to do are things that i can sort of do to my own mind with concentration. Though making myself feel drunk is actually one of the easier tricks because thats as simple as doing the opposite of concentrating. Like think of what it feels like to concentrate on something. What are you doing to make that happen? Take that and do the opposite. If I do the opposite of concentrating I suddenly I feel something that feels a lot like the way people have described being drunk. I've never actually been drunk so I can't confirm whether its exactly the same or not. I do need to be careful not to overuse it because while it doesn't feel like concentration at all it tires out my brain as if it was.
