I find it a bit wrong that we had the cliffhanger of her being captured only to find out a week later.. we are at the exact same spot with 0% progress.

There is a lot going on without an abnormally large number of pages, I would not expect things to resolve in one release. Shadowman isn't a villain to monologue about his plans, so we need some story construct for him to reveal hints.
