If this happened before, it was future Simon that made Robin a steward/guardian which means Doros never had a bargain with Robin, but Robin's bargain was with Anna, ie "mom".

Assuming that Anna has just contracted with all of Doros' cats, I wonder if that means she has inherited all their stewards as well?

That’s a good point, but since Doros doesn’t know about the time loop, I think only one instance of Simon would be removed from his service, and future Simon was the one standing in front of him; so present-day Simon would have been missed by that finger snap and technically still work for Doros. On the other hand, that would complicate a future event, so I’m going to think about this for a bit

On paper, yes, she has. But Doros does have grounds to argue otherwise.

Could always make it so Doros snapped all the cats that were no longer loyal. It isn't like we are seeing any other cats in this interaction.

I thought Anna's helpers were more of Make Love, Not War -kind of helpers 😉 ...still, we've not learned of Doros' motive for creating Stewards - maybe there is angle that suits also Anna

I don't really consider it to be a plot hole, it's more that it adds another possible direction I could take with Robin's contact with Doros.
