So the protagonist for the upcoming Untitled Fantasy Comic (currently brainstorming titles with Journey or Escape or Similar in its name) is going to be a red headed Elf, because that's how I roll.

Should I make her female form slender, petite, or athletic?

If she is one of the transformed guards, athletic might be fitting

I feel like it would be best if it matched the original form proportionally. Athletic - Athletic Slim - Slim Petite (small? Whatever an acceptable word to describe a short small-framed guy is) - Petite Slim or petite would fit a pampered prince more but athletic would fit a warrior prince raised to lead an army more. Slim would work best for a more average looking prince, but petite could also reflect having been more of a pretty boy type. What kind of expections are there on royals in general, and princes and kings in particular in their kingdom? Is this the heir or someone further down the line of succession who may have felt the need to prove themselves and thus may have put effort into being physically more powerful than the heir who is more politically powerful?

Are we talking like marathoner athletic, or bodybuilder athletic?

Elves gotta be slender!

Out of those choices, athletic. If one could go for hourglass, why would you want something else though? However, if this is an actual fantasy world setting, please change the names from Liam/Leah to something Elven instead. It'd be like naming an orc John when you could have named him Garrosh instead.

Athletic sounds more unique.

Based on the initial description, I think a slender model would fit quite well
