N-POWER RACK FOR ABLETON LIVE 11.1 IS HERE

This ableton live rack is meant to be used as a post-processing rack for basses, leads, percs and much more!

FEATURES:

  • OTT SECTION: multiband compression to flatten the dynamics of any incoming signal and bring out the detail!
  • DRIVE: a specialized compressor with incredibly low attack and release settings causing it to distort the incoming signal! The sound of this specific distortion is very interesting and also comes with the benefit of overcompressing the signal, therefor bringing out even more detail!
  • LIMIT: Compress your input signal to the max (0db) without distorting/clipping it! If you want to preserve the clarity/simplicity of a sound and dont want to add the extra harmonics that saturation adds, this is for you.
  • SOFT CLIP: Using the glue compressors` soft clipper, you can push any input signal into the soft clipper. Transients stay transparent and the topend distortion is nicely rolled off, resulting in loud but cleanly distorted output signal!
  • PHASE SECTION: With PHASE TEST you can turn any incoming signal MONO. This is for monitoring purposes, especially when using things like unison. SUB MONO cuts out the lowend stereo information, which can help with phase cancellation and odd panning!
  • MIDS AND SIDES: Rebalance a signals mono and stereo volumes! This is very useful for pushing existing but quiet stereo information or rebalancing the mids of your input signal aka pushing the mono signal.
  • OUT GAIN: Take control over pesky artifacts and tails or use it creatively to polish your final output!
  • EQ8: an eq placed inbetween the processing chain, allowing for creative eqing and polishing!

N-VOCO RACK FOR ABLETON LIVE 11.1 IS HERE

This ableton live rack can be used for many things!  Its main component consists of a carefully setup vocoder on modulator mode, causing the input signal to be split into multiple bandpass instances across the frequency spectrum. Voco helps bring this fx unit to its fullest potential by seperating the lowend, which would generally cause more issues than it would generate benefits, and applies post-multiband compression to even out the frequency spectrum after processing. Its main use case is for sound design purposes! This racks processing chain can give your input signal a "underwater" characteristic, but can also act as a spectral gate of sorts. When used in conjunction with post processing, n-voco can isolate the most dominant frequency areas in a sound and give you a much sharper, focused final result.

FEATURES:

  • VOCO: controls the bandwidth of all bandpass filters. The default 100 generally results in the best sounding transformation but can be brought either up or down for a tighter or more true to the original sound! Turning this parameter up to 200% can dramatically filter out dominant frequency areas!
  • TIGHT: Further tightens the envelopes of each bandpass instance. This can help dramatically reduce the decay of the input signal!
  • SPLIT LOWS: Seperate the lowend from the vocoder instance. This helps keep the lowend clean while the mids and highs get affected as much as you want
  • INPUT GAIN: Amplify the input signal before it runs through the main part of n-voco, resulting in a less sensitive sound, which can help reduce the underwater sound.
