N-COMB FILTER FOR SNAP HEAP IS HERE

This snap heap rack is a bipolar Comb filter with a built-in bandpass filter!

The Kilohearts eco-system currently does not offer a comb filter with built-in filtering! Thanks to khs convolver this is now possible!

N-COMB FILTER aims to work similar to xfer Serum's Cmb Filters!

What makes the serum cmb filters so special is the H/L cmb filter variations, which allows for built-in bandpassing of the resonant comb filter signal, resulting in a unique palette of sounds only achievable by having a filter re-apply in the delay's feedback loop!

N-COMB FILTER achieves this by using the khs convolver, a premium plugin by Kilohearts with a built-in delay with a feedback loop.

This rack has a total of 6 different khs convolvers with each a different bandpass frequency position IR emulating the same behavior that you would get from a native comb filter with built-in filtering. This does result in more cpu usage, but ultimately brings you the sound of the comb filter to your khs sound design arsenal!

On top of offering 6 different bandpass positions, the resonance's Polarity can be positive or negative (+/-), offering more sound design possibilities and a quick comparison between the two different tonal modes.

FEATURES:

CUTOFF: This lets you change the comb filter's frequency (delay time)!

BP FILTER: This lets you morph between 6 different bandpass filter states!

RES: Bipolar resonance/feedback of the comb filter! Moving the knob towards 100% adds a positive (+) resonance, while moving it towards -100% results in negative resonance (-).

MIX: Mix the comb filtered signal with the original. Note that the original signal is layered on top of the comb filtered signal, as the serum cmb filters behave similarly!

REQUIREMENTS (Some plugins need to be owned, others only need to be installed):
