N-SELF FM [SNAP HEAP] (Patreon)

N-SELF FM is a self-modulating frequency/phase shifter that allows for real-time self-pitch modulation otherwise only possible in samplers.

Some samplers have feature the option to pitch modulate a sample with itself, generating incredibly interesting sounding results that are not possible in real-time.

N-SELF FM tries to emulate self-pitch modulation by doing partial phase and frequency shifting modulation with itself.

The LO FM module is made out of a self-modulating phase distortion, which results in gritty sounding sub frequencies.

The HI FM module is a self-modulating frequency shifter, allowing for incredibly high ranges of self-pitch modulation without pitch drift.

FEATURES:

LO FM: Adjusts the amount of low frequency self-modulation

HI FM: Adjusts the amount of high frequency self-modulation

X-OVER: Sets the frequency crossover for the LO and HI bands.
