N-SPECTRAL SUPPRESSOR v1.0 for Ableton Live 11.3.3
N-SPECTRAL SUPPRESSOR is a dynamic spectral resonance suppressor with selectable frequency region and sensitivity.
This rack uses ableton's vocoder and Hybrid reverb in combination with N-MLC to achieve linear phase accurate splitting of individual notes across the frequency spectrum. it then lets you gate out harmonics that are out of a specific volume threshold which then gets phase inverted with the original signal, resulting in dynamic resonance suppression.
The processing range is ~100hz to 18000hz, as that's the limit for the vocoder and what most people can hear. Lower sub frequencies have been left untouched, as the latency compensation would be too high to be usable.
N-SPECTRAL SUPPRESSOR runs at only 64.9ms latency and requires both the N-SPECTRAL SUPPRESSOR IR.wav audio file and N-MLC m4l device to work properly.
FEATURES:
SPECTRAL SUPPRESS: Adjusts the amount of dynamic resonance suppression
SENSITIVITY: Adjusts the loudness threshold for the spectral suppressor.
DELTA: Switches to the phase inversion signal. Handy to monitor what is being suppressed.
HIGH: Adjusts the max high frequency for the spectral suppressor.
LOW: Adjusts the max low frequency for the spectral suppressor.
