literally one of the best shows airing currently. i’ll never understand the people that watch it just to say shit like “it’s cringey” you are watching a show aimed at young teens first of all. and it covers such important stuff and that’s your take away? don’t even get me started on the strangely high number of people that were complaining about nick and charlie not having sex this season even AFTER they literally talked about how they aren’t ready in this season. let me stop ranting i can’t wait to watch y’all’s reactions

N.Kaito

OMG so excited, honestly can't wait to hear all your opinions on this because honestly the whole thing was amazing. Still one of my favourite tv shows

Also if this is what “no kisses” looks like I’m a fucking virgin 💀people have gotten a little too comfortable with their demands as if it wasn’t enough that they’ve forced this boy to come out just last year. Now we’re complaining about how teens first relationships are supposed to be smh 💀 this ain’t hit bite love 🤡

I really loved this season...can't wait to see all ya'll reactions. I finally working my way through Kent's RWRB 3part reaction (LOL) and this was a pleasant surprise. Can't wait for the rest.

no forreal!! like just tell me you have an asian fetish, it's fine LMAO out here trashing this series and saying asian BL is more realistic, OKAY JAN LOL.

people are just so weird to me "no kissing" doesn't even matter...when literally, the two best series of the year from what I've heard are this and Stay With Me (which I finished) a Chinese "bromance" that has been censored to filth..

Also at the start it wasn't a test its called self study basically, its silent studying before GCSE exams in year 11 to get in extra revision without distractions

They really could just say that they prefer porn and that’s that. But these little critics in them have to add their nonsense to everything. This is too raunchy, this isn’t enough 💀 like get that stick out of your ass and just watch what you want instead of moping around like a bitch. I apologise a little for the language but it’s so annoying how we can never have anything nice and fun bc of those party poopers

this..like super sexy series and wholesome series can coexist. I don't understand why they are making this about who does it better when we should just be happy we are getting queer stories from all different cultures in the first place..

delusional toxic blind bitch
>>115158380

Oh true bc the realism is always there in “the I’m gay only for you” or the “I’m studying abroad and I apparently don’t have a phone” or (as much as I like wedding plan) “I’m getting married to my lesbian friend but I fell in love with the man planning my wedding” 💀 and don’t even get me started on History 🤡

>>115158380

This like it’s really getting so annoying especially bc most of them have never even experienced anything like this in their life bc the only way I could understand anyone coming for realism in any of this are straight people that don’t see themselves represented in a queer story.

I personally think the whole conversation around this show from both sides was so strange to me..why BL is so fun is the genre does so much different things, it can be dramatic, campy, sexy or one of the best showings of representation. Either way im happy I can watch a show as dumb as Be Mine Super Star one day and also watch a series like Heartstopper or The Eighth Sense the next. Depicting real queer experiences in different ways. I don't get why people need to have this one-or-the-other mentality when you can just enjoy the ride..

i find the sex discourse amusing because these boys have been dating for 2 months, nick is still very new at figuring out his sexuality and charlie has his own stuff to deal with. obviously it's different for everyone but considering those cases it's not even that shocking that they're going to take their time doing more than just kissing. also really weird that show like this gets so much discourse regarding its supposed chasteness where a show like high school musical the series (or whtver its name is) that feels very much like its aimed at the same demographic doesn't seem to get the same kind of scrutiny. but anyway, i loved s2 as well and looking forward to the rest of the reactions. i feel like the show is doing a really great job getting more mature and tackling some heavier themes but still remaining really sweet and earnest.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I love my dumb and nonsensical shows as much as the serious ones and even the toxic ones. The thing that upsets me tho is talking about realism when they’re the same people that eat up all the bs that we’re served from some of the shows but here, where it is about teenagers doing teenager stuff and really one of the more realistic series, it’s suddenly not realistic enough? Oh how I wish some of those people would just get a life and learn to enjoy dramas and shows for what they are: entertainment. I understand some comparisons if they’re within the same realm as in this is a high school show and that is a high school show but anything else is uncalled for imo. Also I am sorry if I’m taking this a little too serious and over reacting a little. I am just so sick and tired of all the entitles critics coming for everything and then defend some shows that are just so insanely bad that it hurts. And I don’t mean the kind that’s so bad it’s good 🤡

Megs
>>115158380

oh no, I get it completely. I just can't let myself be mad about it, because if I did id go crazy LOL its A Shoulder To Cry On all over again. People are so intense about it..im just a mellow go with the flow person in general so im just looking at it all this past week on twitter being like.....why we fighting? xD

delusional toxic blind bitch
>>115158380

Omg the way I forgot about the shoulder to cry on already 😭 but the way you’re doing it is way healthier than mine 😂 the way I tend to get so mad at all of this bs as if it’s attacking me personally and I gotta snap back 💀 I am currently working on my temper 🤡

Nancy

If u search on YouTube “how heartstopper ruined kit connors life”u will see the reason why he got so big for season 2, the fans from the book didn’t want him to be nick because he wasn’t big enough like the the character in the book, this reminds me of what happened to taylor lautner when he was playing the character of Jacob in twilight he also had to get big for the movie

Magical Creature

Yall dropped this on the perfect time. I’m sick right now so i have all the time to binge 🥳🥳❤️❤️❤️

Frances

Not Kent saying: Isaac looks like a Tobie when his real name is in fact Tobie 😂

Lost Boy
>>115158380

Damn! Agree 100%. 😅 This is why I love your reactions… never hold back anything lol..

Lost Boy

Megan.. to beef with a kids show just coz of what the author said in 2017 is really STUPID and uncalled for. Also, name 1BL before 2017 that are realistic.. I am sure there is one somewhere in the obscurity but the fact that BLs weren’t even famous in 2017 still holds.
