I held it together this time but I almost cried like a little bitch again. MAN THIS SERIES IS TOP TIER, TOP TWO OF THE YEAR FOR ME (I can't decide between this and I Cannot Reach You!!!). THE MUSIC, THE BUILD UP, THE EMOTIONS, THE STORY TELLING!!!!! I've honestly never seen anything like this in a BL before where the guy fully accepts his gay friend's confession and tells him it's okay to keep it one-sided for now and not tell him to hide who he is!!!!! I'M SOFT AF.

Confession reaction of the year goes to Ryuji’s “please keep it one sided for now” and Kakeru’s “yes you can keep liking me”. Yes they are tied, love this 2 series, one of the best for sure this year, storytelling, ACTING, chemistry, emotions everything, these 2 deserves all the praise, I’m currently in a chokehold with the 2 series, I have been seeing then in Twitter and Tiktok lol. The fact that Ryuj and Yamato both have acted together as brothers in a diff series, and Amane and Kakeru being part of Japanese idol/boy band. These series are fated. These deserves like 12 episode 1hour long. Superior to almost all Thais BLs this yr,

This episode was perfection! Ryuji must be among the greenest flags I've ever seen in a bl.

💯 You summed it up perfectly and thank you for the additional back story on the actors! Both of these series are on the list of all time greats. Beautifully done.

This series is everything! I really like how Ryuji is as a person, I love how he asked Amane what he wanted out of telling him why he liked him before he even said anything because he cared so much about how amane was feeling. He is literally such a kind soul that is so mature in his approach with him, they all feel so human and real. It’s sad how a series with just 5 episodes can outdo so many other series that are so bloated I will forever look at this series as such a perfect example of superb storytelling. No more excuses for these shows because if this can do it so can they.

5:10 the joke is that 'follow me' has the same verbal sounds as 'date me' so it can literally be heard as, 'from now on, date me' or 'follow me after this'

6:21 more importantly (than the semester ceremony), i want to talk to you

8:12 'it's not just that i want to know, i also dont understand'

Asher J

8:30 'once i have listened to/understood everything, i will then decide on how to move ahead from here' [not 'act towards you', that's too direct]

13:01 ryuji's internal monologue "given how unclear i am (of emotions) now, saying it now could perhaps be incorrect.."

15:40 "thinking that it was an unforgivable thought (liking boys), i had already decided to continue giving up on feelings"
