LITTLE MAN IS IN DA HOUSE! 😱🤩 We were so excited and hyped to see him and finally confirm our theory!! It was just PERFECT! 😌 And we loved the reunion with Vi, they are so lovable! 😊

He is exactly what the under city needs and we were happy to see that he was willing to cooperate with Cait and Vi but we instantly knew something was going to go wrong 😕 Obviously related to Jinx and she finally appeared and killed almost everyone 😧 if it hadn't been for Ekko, she probably would have killed her sister and Cait.

We feel so bad because we think he probably died too and we wanted to see him again 😭

Also, Viktor decided to start using the shimmer and we are worried about that too, it can't be something good 🤨 even though we totally get him 😞

Thank you for watching, have a nice day and enjoy the reaction! Love you!! 🤗

Watching this episode was torture for me, because I had to wait two weeks before I was able to continue watching the next episodes. Not knowing if anyone of the two survived or not. This show is too good written to give any of the characters plot armor. 😅🤯 I think your thoughts about Powder/Jinx are spot on. She never got the help she needed so desperately to even have a small chance to recover from what had happened. 😭 Vi is a case of arrested development, her world stood still for about seven or eight years in prison, while the world outside lived on. She lost those years completely, of course she couldn't have the slightest idea, how much Powder had changed. 😭 Powder/Jinx is a child in a young womans body, Vi is still the 17-year-old rebel inside, who "blocks with her face" (👌😂), thinks with her fists and struggles to allow real intimacy or show vulnerabilty. She sees it as a weakness and she also is very lonely and therefore used to being on her own. The only person she ever fully trusted was Vander. Powder and Ekko were too young and the boys - well they were boys.😅 So developing real feelings for Caitlyn is a big deal for her.💖 There is a small moment I only discovered when I watched the show again later: When Jinx shoots at Caitlyn and Vi, Caitlyn tries to throw herself over Vi to protect her from the bullets, while Vi at the same time pushes Caitlyn away from herself, to get them both out of the line of fire. It happens so fast, you could miss it when you blink in the wrong moment. This once again shows the writers love for details and visual storytelling. Caitlyn throwing herself in the line of fire to protect the people she cares about and Vi doing the same by pushing them away. It sums up both characters perfectly. They have the same goal (protecting loved ones), but different ways to approach it.😍💖 These were my first impressions: - The perspective through the burlap makes you really feel the confusion and fear Caitlyn and Vi are experiencing. 😨 - The banter and bickering between them, I loved it so much. They almost sounded like an old couple. Well, I loved it till the moment Vi was taken and Caitlyn fell in full-on panic mode. - Of course it was Ekko! Who else could it have been? And my does he look awesome. The hour glass symbol on his face! His theme seems to be time. 🤩💖 - Vi gives the greatest hugs! You see how Ekko's shell cracks the more they talk like they did all those years ago. His doubts about Vi are gone in an instant and his eyes soften. Just like after the attack when Benzo and Grayson died, he immidiately feels consoled and secure. 😃 - I must correct myself, the one firelight looks more like a man-bat than a wolf without his mask and judging by the look on his face, he indeed still feels every single one of Vi's punches. The one I thought was a child indeed is a teenager. He is the one giving Caitlyn the bowl with water and during the talk between Vi and Ekko, you can see him sitting with the younger kids at the bottom (without his mask), where a younger child tries to ride his hover-board. And we learn that "man-bat", who is obviously Ekkos right hand man, has a newborn child. I never thought a creature with such spiky teeth could be this cute. 😅😊 - Victor is entering very dark territory, I'm worried about him. He's frustrated and desperate, because Jayce is caught up in his own problems and time is running out for him. So he decides to make himself the guinea pig for his experiments. He carves runes in his leg brace. I think he hopes to cure his leg by melting it somehow with the hex core. From his point of view: What has he to loose at this point? - Jayce feels so much pressure from all sides. Victor wants him to help him, the Council waits for his decisions (being the new leader after kicking Heimerdinger out), the blockade he ordered lets the tension rise close to the boiling point and Mel tries to push him to build weapons. He is in way over his head and begins to realize it. 🤔 - Interesting choice of words from Jayce: "They are dangerous!". It reminds me of young Marcus ("They are dangerous!"), Caitlyn ("In what world would I trust someone like you?") or Vi ("You enforcers are all the same!"). Marcus never overcame his prejudices, while Vi and Caitlyn are learning to do it and Jayce has Victor to set his head straight. - Jinx' bomb, presented by Marcus as evidence for the firelights envolvement, has Ekkos hour glass symbols all over it, painted on by Jinx (guessing from the colors and the style), to make it more convincing. - Now I know why Jinx was working on the mechanical butterflies in the fourth episode. 😨😭 You can still see them in her lab when she staples her leg. They probably fly into the light like real firelights and explode. - The mural is my new favourite shot of all episodes so far.👌😍 - The girl spraying the pink haired girl's portrait is the one with the bird mask from the fight, the one who kicked Caitlyns lights out and took her and the gemstone. 🤔🙂 - It speaks volumes that Powder is the only person up there of whom Ekko knows she is still alive. He has been around and saw Powder transform to Jinx. He probably even tried to get her to join the firelights more than once, but she preferred to stay with Silco. Ekko tries to seperate Jinx and Powder, but you can't do that, they are two sides of the same medal. He gets a hint that Powder still is somewhere in there, when she accepts his challenge with their old childhood game. That's why he couldn't kill her in the end, he saw Powder giving up, not Jinx. It seems, despite his words to Vi he still had a tiny spark of hope that Powder isn't gone for good. 💔 - I wonder what Mel meant with "It's to soon, Jayce isn't ready." It sounded like she was worried that Piltover looks weak to other (and probably hostile) nations and that's why she pushes Jayce so hard to build hextech weapons. And she got a letter from home - maybe her family noticed Piltovers weakness to? - In more peaceful times I would side with Viktor's pacifist views, but unfortunately Jinx is very close to build an Arcane version of a nuclear bomb, all she needs is to get the gemstone back. I think it is important to at least think about building hextech weapons. For all they know, they have no idea where the gemstone is and there is an accomplished bomb builder somewhere in the undercity. - Caitlyn does a very Vi thing, she offeres herself up for someone who became very important to her in a short time. She didn't deserve to be mocked by Vi, but then again you can see Vi means it in a "I like you for it" way. Caitlyns speech hit not only your hearts, but also mine, Ekkos and especially Vis (look at her eyes widen). This cements Caitlyn being my number one character in this show.💘💘 (Though Vi and Ekko come in close.) If Vi was attracted to her before, now she is hooked. I think it is still to soon to talk about love, but now there is not only attraction, but also deep respect and outright admiration. 💖 - The picture Jayce is looking at is a drawing from his childhood days, it shows him as some kind of superhero with a huge hammer. We're going to see him with his hammer from the opening credits!🙌😄🔨 - Vis and Caitlyns goodbye at the bridge was so heartbreaking. At least Vi herself confirmed what we saw and hoped for: "It was real, cupcake!" She looked so sad and dejected, head and shoulders hanging, when she slowly walkes away from Caitlyn. No trace of her usual energy. Even when she hugged Ekko she only had eyes for Caitlyn. She gives up something possibly good to do the right thing. All the while Jinx high up on the bridge fights with her jealousy and Mylos shadow grows and grows.😱 - When Vi hears a shot she instantly runs back, screaming: "Caitlyn!"💘 And Mylos shadow grows even more, until it threatens to swallow Jinx.😱 - Marcus did what he always does, trying to get out of his situation by making one bad decision after another. He was so desperate, he wanted to kill both of them off, only you saw how he struggled to kill Caitlyn (his face twitching and his arm shaking, unable to pull the trigger), while he didn't hesitate to kill Ekko, who to him was just some guy from the undercity. It is so much harder to kill someone you knew for years and saw growing up. 😠 - Unfortunately Caitlyns naivety came back and kicked her in the butt. Even after Ekko told her, she couldn't imagine that the sheriff himself is corrupt. Her picture of a sheriff was that of Grayson, a honorable and good person. - When Jinx crosses the bridge, she hums the song she sang that fateful day when she went on the bridge with Vi, looking for their parents in the first episode. "Dear friend, across the river..." Only now it is her carnage. 😭😭 And how it fuels her rage, when she sees Vi and Caitlyn, how her mind turned Caitlyns face into a devilish grimace...👿🙈 - This is the first time Vi actually walkes away from Powder. She carries a wounded Caitlyn and her sister just shot at them, I think she realizes only now how drastically Powder has changed and doesn't know what to make of it. - Jinx little butterfly bomb ripped Marcus' arm right off. I wonder if we will ever know what happens to his daughter Ren now. Another orphan, as if there weren't already enough. 😭 - Ekko escaped, of that I'm sure. Don't forget he had armor on that stopped a bullet fired in short distance.🙂 The only question is, how serious his injuries are. You could see Ekko jump aside at the last moment and we saw during his duel with Jinx how fast he is. He is probably injured, but shurely not as severe as Jinx.

Nerdish React

Thank you for the comment! There were a lot of things we hadn't noticed, like how Caitlyn and Vi reacted to the shooting, that Marcus lost his arm from that butterfly bomb and that Jinx drew different things in the "evidence" to make it more realistic. Good eye! We agree with your thoughts on a lot of thing like Vi being sad from having to leave Caitlyn behind, how the situations each sister were in shaped their character and how Ekko still had a tiny bit of hope in the end, which is so sad! We appreciate your comments, keep them coming! :D
