We had our time jump! 😬

But it was so interesting to see him growing in the middle! Now he is a killing machine for Askelad... 😐 we don't like it, but we understand why it has to be like that so that he can get his duel someday 😕

And we also didn't like how this episode ended 😒 It was too sad to see how the attackers destroyed that village and ended up killing the woman that helped him 😭 She was a nice person and we agreed with her in everything she said and did 😔

We know he didn't want them to be killed but then he finally accepted that it just happened and he couldn't do more for them 🙁

Thanks for watching with us! We hope you enjoy the reaction and have a nice day! Love you! 🤗

I love your pure and honest reactions- Shuni, I think you are like me and will cry a lot with this show, and Lucy, I think it might catch you by surprise, but maybe not, and I know everyone is different with their emotions and how/when they express them, so I’ll still enjoy your reaction as well whatever it may be. Great questions about Leif- just remember that travel is harder and takes longer in this time period, and the distances are farther than you might imagine just looking at a map. Plus, we don’t know what Leif might have assumed about Thorfinn’s fate, most likely that he was either killed (which he probably won’t accept) or sold into slavery (in which case he could literally be anywhere)- even in their day and age, children as young as Thorfinn being a part of a band of Vikings would have been rare if not totally unheard of I think- plus, even if Leif considered that possibility, there would be no way to know where a mercenary group such as Askeladd and his men would be at any given time, as they’re always on the move, and even if he assumed they were taking part in the raids on England, that’s still a large amount of land to consider. In this episode, it’s hard to know whether to be happy for Thorfinn that he’s able to chase his goal, or just devastated at the fact that he’s growing up on the battlefield (the opposite of what his father wanted)- no matter how likable/personable the men he’s with (it’s hard not to take some liking to Askeladd and Bjorn) even though they’re committing absolute atrocities. I’m excited to follow your journey through this show even though it might hurt at times

We are so happy that you are enjoying our reactions! And yes, I tend to cry a lot in this kind of shows so I know it will probably happen again lol, it's nice to know I'm not alone in this xd (Shuni writing here) We agree with you and we have mixed feelings about Thorfinn right now but we also know that he took that decision and we will always root for him (unless he becomes evil lol) Thank you so much for your comment!! We are excited to share this journey with you too!
