I love how you draw the ropes. Question: do you draw each line of the ropes separately or do you use a special brush to achieve the result? I'm drawing something rn that has ropes in the design and theyre such a pain in the ass cause i keep having to resize them and redraw

Enji looks so plush that now I’m imagining a scene involving both ropes and human furniture where Jeanist ties Enji into position and then Jeanist and Hawks just lounge on him, like reading quietly or watching a movie together.

I draw them all seperately, unfortunately I haven't been able to replicate the 3D effect I want with any rope brushes. The way I approach it is that I locate the spots where I want the knots to be, and then connect them with the rope lines in a way that highlights the shape of the body and the tension and directions the ropes being pulled in. And I don't worry too much about the knots being correct, as long as there's some illusion of " yeah I guess that'd work, that looks like a knot".
