I haven't revealed my mermaid's name yet. Perhaps I'll do so later today.

I was kickingg around a few old horse names, to coincide with the more nordic "haffru" mythology I've created for her. I think haffrus or mermaids, in this world, would've originated in nordic countries as that's where they were first seen or documented, centuries ago. As such, nordic names would be more fitting as she maybe assumed that name bc it was used by earthly folk to refer to her centuries ago.

Because of the haffru language being quite complicated I imagine her haffru name would be a series of underwater sounds, not really a tempting way to easily name and identify your character. I've decided on a simple yet pretty name for her though so she can be more easily referred to in the future. And within my own internal logic I like that I picked a name that you can actually annunciate underwater and probably understand it.
