AI art has finally impacted my customers. After seeing the AI art out there being passed off as real, and in the futa art space, I realize showing actual sketches has value, so y'all can see the thinking behind a piece and how it's incrementally built.

AI artists will post what essentially looks like lineart, when asked to prove themselves, but it is just a tracing over an already generated image. They work backwards to make it look like they can draw; they can't. They'll have rudimentary skills used to trace 3D MODELS and import these images into an AI generator. Sometimes they'll do crude drawings over these generated images. Simple things like hair changes, tattoo or character markings, color alts, etc can be done after the fact.

Make no mistake, the most difficult part about drawing is finding the dynamic forms of anatomy, the foundation of the figure, IN YOUR OWN STYLE. Art that lacks an identifiable singular style yet is somehow accomplished doesn't exist. It can't happen, unless AI is used. Artist's work that looks oddly realistic suddenly is artificially aided. Artist's that draw 10 hours a day for years will know what impossible timeframes are. Most normies won't notice the difference but an artist can easily identify these hacky tricks.

There will be no thru lines in a sketch, for example, which an artist will use as they find the 3D anatomical forms (bit like drawing the unseen side of a cube) to disover shapes they want to pull out. People can even fake that, which an undiscerning eye probably can't work out as fake. But a fake sketch will, upon inspection, be nonsensical. A person well acquainted with the creative process will have the know-how in spotting fakery.

The reality is AI artists exist but the upside for real artists is these ppl are extremely lazy which means the "proof" they offer is half assed garbage. They'll then insinuate they don't need to prove themselves, after making lame efforts to do so. A real artist takes pride in their work and would have no issue proving their skill and describing verbally their understanding and what technical things they were considering while working thru a piece.
