Dark Haffrú Anatomy Appendix A WIP (Patreon)

A little look at the starfish Anatomy. This is the first appendix as it's basically the form that underpins the entirety of this creature, being a Haffrú in a corrupted state.

The starfish pairing are a rare classification known as Azulroidea and are essentially predatory to mermaids, and as such are sort of their kryptonite. Once they latch onto the mermaids nipples they feed on their sweet breast milk and take control of their mind. Each starfish is one half of this hive mind pairing which is essentially rudimentary and rather simple minded as far as consciousness goes, on its own. Paired with the dolphin like Haffrú brain it can utilize higher brain functions but coming from such a limited source this means the Dark Haffrú s motivations become rather base and predatory as a consequence.
