You are actually building up this mystery. In the original, his father tested Gamma on him. But, in this AU, Betty already had little, but the Gamma expanded it? This is getting interesting than I thought. Also, X Gene? An Easter Egg?

Not necessarily, I want to focus more on Betty's core group and some of the Gamma characters. The mutants are a bit outside of that core group, but yes, they exist.
