--------------------------------------------TESTIMONIOS--------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------TESTIMONIALS--------------------------------------------

1- Exactly one year ago I had a horrible existential crisis, which led to a suicide attempt. I was diagnosed with anxiety and my life totally changed as a result of that. I realized that my mental health was neglected and that I had never really worked on myself; I knew I had to start.

2- We women come from a dark place that society has built for us. They tell us that we are crazy, treacherous, whores, sensitive, stupid, etc., to lower us socially, mentally, at work and spiritually. When we feel and express our emotions, they reduce us to a bunch of hormones, they minimize all our feelings. However, it is curious and beautiful to see how, helping each other, we have emerged, step by step, from that black hole in which they have wanted to keep us for years

3- A year ago I discovered the true meaning of resilience. I was in a dark and lonely cave from which I managed to get out little by little, with the help of antidepressants and therapy, but the true light I found in feminism, with my sisters. I realized that I was not alone. I realized that I was not crazy, that my problem was real, that my desire to go to therapy was not an exaggeration, that my brain really needs help from the drugs, and that I can be happy and myself despite it. Because I'm not alone. I was reunited with my friends - the ones that society had told me were not to be trusted, because "women are treacherous." They were the ones who supported me, listened to me, lifted me up; the ones that didn't judge me. It was they who showed me the way to self-love

4- It's true, the path of self-love has been romanticized to the point where everyone thinks it's about traveling, exercising, and getting a facial. Self love is the most complicated and difficult love to find. Some days you hate yourself, you don't understand yourself, you want to give up, you think you are going astray and relapse, but you get up and move on... That is what self-love is all about. It is not a goal, it is a path. Painful and complicated, but it is worth every second, every day, every tear, and of course, every smile.

4- Resilience is the ability to flourish despite adversity, and what better word to define self-love. Not giving up despite relapses. I remember the event that triggered my anxiety disorder and it really hurts, but I appreciate it because if it weren't for that, I wouldn't have realized how abandoned and hurt I was, and how much I needed to love myself. I would like to say and affirm that I have managed to heal, but it would be a lie, however, I feel happier and fuller than ever and I'm getting closer to the healing I aspire to. Thanks to feminism and therapy I know that I am strong, brave, beautiful and capable. And that nothing and no one can make me return to that horrible place. I know that I am not alone because I have myself, always.
