I hope Tifa wins, I think she deserves it.

I did a bit of quick research, with how Honoka and Scarlet showed up here you could argue they are acting as Tina and Tifa’s "Corner women/people." Individuals who accompany a wrestler to the ring and provide support during the match. While their role is primarily to offer physical and emotional support, they can also subtly influence the match by distracting the opponent or referee, or even attacking the opponent when the referee isn't looking. (The former in this case since Gladio learned from previous events.) As long as they don’t interfere directly like “trying to enter the ring” 😉, Prep talks and distractions like Honoka “provided” here are fair(ish) game. GO TINA! (Sidenote: Hope we learn more about this “BET” between Honoka and Scarlet soon.)

Your guess is as good as mine Rob. I'm still curious why Honoka wants my gurl Chun-li so badly.
