Eric Costello recently acquired at auction this final panel from a 1924 comic strip starring a strangely familiar looking character named "S. Steven O'Brush." I'm sure the punchline would be funnier with the whole joke setting it up, but check out the textbook-perfect Givney Flip performed by the barkeep.

I've also heard that described as a Bazooka Joe backflip.

The East German judge gives that Givney Flip a perfect 6.0. Ham, of course, features as a punch line in many strips featuring O'Brush, owing to his love of it.

Doodle request: You saw it coming. There is yet another prospective applicant having a job interview with Lana. We see your version of Chiku wearing her cooking apron seated in Lana's office. Chiku thinks the interview went great and is already enthusiastically asking if she's got the job. It looks like a stack of pizzas exploded in Lana's office. There is cheese, sauce, and pepperoni plastered on everyone and everything in Lana's office, especially on Lana. Cleaning tomato sauce out of white wool, I don't envy her. Lana, who is getting really sick of this, is so angry she's dragging her hooves across her desk so hard she is leaving carved out grooves in her desktop. The amount of pizza guts splattered everywhere is up to you in the interest of saving time. As always you have full freedom to change anything if you think of something funnier or more time-saving. Thank you again for making these. For reference: https://www.patreon.com/posts/my-rendition-of-106529015

Yeah, that's a perfect flip, that is.

One slice of pepperoni on Lana's forehead, between her eyes, in a grotesque parody of Fuma.

Ah, classic! Don’t see the Givney Flip much in modern comics. Their loss.
