Decadent Arsenic's request makes me think of Lost River in Bowling Green KY. It starts in a small pond fed by an underground spring, and flows about 100 yards, right into a cave. I think Ripley's Believe it or Not listed it as "the shortest river in the world."

Id love to get a picture of a very nervous Lana at the annual shareholders meeting for Tegerio Inc. The well dressed and very serious investors arent too happy with her about how profits are taking dive, and they certainly arent pleased with all this "shearing" nonsense (I however, certainly approve.)
