lets hope this model never trashes the place

A la-z-skunk? I ain't seen one of those in an age and a half.

Serge Skunk

Coincidentally, my birthday is in fact today of all days, so this is absolutely perfect timing^^ This looks so great too! Thank you so much!^^ Happy Birthday Indeed!

Serge Skunk

I think Mr. Cat's model was a shortstack model of some kind. For the most part 'Yvonne' is a pretty standard model I think.^^

When did they stop making them with the big shift lever on the side?

Decadent Arsenic

I think it was a gradual shift in tech adoption. I know that there were some complaints whenever the lever action ones had a bad mechanism that made the chair worthless. Never happened to any I sat in. I do remember it was still the era of "this is expensive and intricate so we need a dedicated phone line for repairs" like a lot of the appliances and such in the 80's/90's

Roo_CatUK

Mr.Cat's RVM was half the size due to the XL features and the weight shipping limits😸

My paternal grandfather had one upholstered in hideous nappy green with cigarette burns all over the arms. It made a magnificent mechanical GRREEEECHONNNK sound when you worked the lever and reclined it. I wonder what happened to that chair... Reckon I haven't seen it since 1998.

Decadent Arsenic

Cigarette burns?! Oh the sin! My great grands had a set of two and one got handed down to my grands. If even the head rest cover or arm rest covers were displaced, we got a talking to. Damage to the upholstery? Your grandpa would've gotten disowned 😆

Ragtime Rochelle

Could you doodle my scarecrow, Sandy, standing out in a snowy cornfield shivering in from the cold, her teeth chattering? And can you draw her breath vapor to emphasize it is cold?

Simone Writes

I see serge spent the money to get the extra large battery pack on his Robot Vixen Maid.

tegerio

Remind me what she looks like.

tegerio

It's worth it for the extra 3 hours of run time.
