Im actually late this month- whoops, only partly not my fault The other half was that I was trying to research first peoples' ceremonial face paint that would be endemic to the region since this is actually diet Appalachia in I can't believe it's NOT North America. But I cant really narrow it down to what i'd prefer so at risk of being insensitive to Shawnee and/or Cherokee, I'm basically slapdashing some facepaints together so that it would look accurate. This next lady's is going to have this specific face paint on, and its going to be on next month's two as well, though those will have other, more creative issues. This lady's name is Salamander-swims-out-from-den which I cant translate into Shawnee because their language is locked behind a tribe members only site because apparently only older tribe members use it for ceremonial purposes, however I did find a video series that tries to teach some Shawnee, but not enough to make names out of it.
