"Tis a generous offer, Adler," (Patreon)

Seamus admitted thoughtfully. "But sure, it's a bit early to be thinkin of sendin the wee lass off to school."
"Let's wait a bit and see," Mary said, with a pleading note in her voice. "Oi'm not ready to let her go yet."
"Well, my offer stands," I insisted.
"We may take you up on it," Seamus nodded. "When the toime comes."
With that, I made my excuses and promised to stop by again soon. I intended to be more involved in my daughter's upbringing henceforth, as the enigmatic but lovable "Uncle Adler" until the time was right to inform her of her true heritage. I would be nearby, at Albric Tor, so it would be easy to check up on her - and now that I had mostly mastered the use of Gates, I wouldn't be skipping regrettable chunks of time!
I collected my two femmes from the bushes where they had been hiding, and headed back into the woods and through the Albric Tor Gate.
Unfortunately, Rebecca's entry into the capital district was not the wondrous adventure she had been hoping for. The field outside the scry-tower was still strewn with corpses and battle gear.
It was Rebecca who suggested we start cleaning up, but Burnside was the only one of us who seemed to have a good time.
What else do you want to know about? This period was largely uneventful, as we tidied up Albric Tor and I occasionally checked in on Kelly to see how she was developing. I can fill in any gaps you're curious about, or skip to the next interesting event.
