St. Veronika is starting to find out why maybe it's not a great thing to be in Zandar's circle of trust.

She will tell you things you would rather not hear about. (This story is based on one somebody told me in the early 1990s. It happened to a person the narrator knew ... but "friend of a friend" stories aren't famed for their veracity so who knows how true it actually is.)

Yay, thank you! Good thing he was still right next to the most skilled physician in town.

To be fair i also heard the same story about somebody yanking a urinary catheter, but that happened in hospital from a nurse after i yanked out my nose cathether because it kept making me vomit, i told the nurse the urethral catheter was not making me try to piss constantly and even if it was it was there for that exact purpose, having a badly inserted nose catether was much worse, because then the doctor would not know if i was vomiting because i was sick or because of something else and that would also prolong my stay in the hospital more than necessary. I had been in the hospital for more than a month at the time and it was the 4rth time i was denied solid food because i kept trying to vomit all day long. I probably should not have done that. But it really was untenable as nobody was believing me when i said it was due to the nose catether. Lo and behold once that was removed i was not trying to vomit anymore.

(winces) It felt so good when it stopped. Of course, Zandar didn't feel a thing.
