I wonder if that word is etymologically related to "carousel."

Anyway, because I am lazy, and because mowing season and tax season are at hand, have another batch of outtakes from the FNIA fanfic! I spent some time last week posing all of these characters to make the dining room look like it would when the pizzeria is open, but then it wound up being just a couple of wide shots where you can't really see what any of them are doing. What a waste of time! I went back around and took these close-ups so my posing and retexturing work could be properly admired.

Story context: (if you're too busy to go read it at sprocketholevandal.tumblr.com ) The mob boss who's co-running the place (because Afton needed his financial backing) insisted that they hire floozies to dress up as the animatronic characters and work the crowd.

Other characters are from various games and were not made by individual artists who can be credited.

All of the floozies (except Carmelita) are wearing body paint that I made and learned how to apply a month ago.

The two are not etymologically related. Carousel is French by way of Italian, and describes a 'little war' by riders galloping about on horseback, tossing perfumed balls at each other. Carouse is from German 'gar aus trinken' via French to the English 'drink carouse,' meaning noisy drunken revelry.
